About: SPOILERS FOR ARCANE S2 Jayce is a high INT low WIS former golden boy who watched his dream of bringing magic to the masses via magitech fall apart SPECTACULARLY. He honestly thought he was about to be atomized right before he got here, so, surprised to be alive! Has lots of GUILT about his actions in the past year, and is still probably suffering some PTSD from a stint in an alternate universe apocalypse realm.

He's brought an eldritch horror with him.

Plots/Plans:
Jayce arrived early-ish in the TDM month and was doing some warehouse work for cash while familiarizing himself with the tech here. I would like to get him more involved with work in the Scrapyard soon, and possibly with fixing the the Rail when that becomes available. He is generally going to try to keep a low-ish profile after the events of his canon, trying to get his feet back under himself physically and mentally.

Also, Jayce's lower left leg suffered a pretty gnarly compound fracture that spent weeks/months healing in a magically corrupted apocalypse universe that transmutes everything organic/inorganic within it. The mods are allowing me to keep the corruption in that leg, so even when covered it might be possible for anyone with super senses or magic types to sense something off about it. I can go into more detail if that's of interest to you. Currently, he's using a brace to get around and adapting to the disability since it never had time to properly set/heal. In the future we might be trying to do more to remove the corruption, out of fear that it might spread through the rest of his body.

Limits: The usual, I'm down for all sorts of juicy arguments leading to complicated CR, negative CR is cool as long as it's not just bashing heads with no end goal!

About: Mysterious administrator of an undersea prison, tea enthusiast, secret nerd masquerading as a jock (accomplished boxer). Wriothesley is a man who spent most of his life fighting to survive, first out on the streets and then in prison...though it might be hard to tell on first meeting. He presents as friendly and affable, generally easy to get along with as long as you don't repeatedly push his buttons. Or break the law. Or kill people for fun, or threaten them. Has a soft spot for kids because his own childhood was shitty and in general wants people to be able to live their lives free of fear and oppression. Since his backstory does contain several heavy themes, I do have an opt-out here that you can use if you'd like to avoid specific themes or his character entirely.

Wanted CR: The obligatory anything.....When it comes to new CR I usually do best with throwing spaghetti against the wall and seeing what sticks, so I'm happy to toss our characters together and see what happens, regardless of whether or not you think they'll vibe. Wriothesley has a pretty affable personality, so he tends to mesh well with most characters regardless of if they're more withdrawn or outgoing. Happy to say that our characters are coworkers or living in the same area or always grab coffee at the same cafe every morning for some easy handwaved CR.

Plots/Plans: Just vibing and getting settled in for now so no real plans!

About: Logan is a mutant who's been around for a while. His brain is swiss cheese thanks to the government and various incidents*, so he's got a significant case of amnesia and trauma out the ass. He does remember his past in bits and pieces, but the bulk of his memories are limited to the past 30-ish years. This Logan comes from the year 2023 in Days of Future Past, meaning his world is currently besieged by machines called Sentinels, designed to hunt down and exterminate all of mutant kind. He's no a stranger to time travel, but he's not really an expert in it, either. They just put him on a table and said "Good luck" and sent him off.

At this canon point, Logan firmly considers himself one of the X-Men. He's spent the past few years fighting a losing war, and will be protective of other mutants/mutant-aligned folks. He's gruff, a wildcard, and has a temper as short as his comic counterpart, but he tries his best to not fuck things up. Once he's on your side, you'll have a meat shield at your disposal. Favours cigars and whiskey.

*Please don't ask me to explain the Fox X-Men timeline and events.

Wanted CR:
— If you have a ye olde, he can help out with mechanical aspects and other handyman repairs.

— Friends!! Logan isn't the cuddliest, but he can and does make conversation if he's in the mood. As much as Logan walls himself off out of habit and a desire to protect himself, he's regularly returned to the X-Men for a reason, and he's not as solitary as he pretends to be.

— Any time travellers or people who know about time travelling. Logan is looking for answers about what his dip into the past might've done. Their intention was to fix the future, but...well.

— Others from apocalyptic/post-apocalyptic/dystopian universes. On that note, other outcasts will strike a chord with him easily, particularly if the stigmatization is due to one's abilities/species/something they were simply born with.

Plots/Plans:
— RE: TDM threads, a few I wrapped up/am in the process of wrapping up, but I'm happy to continue any that are still in the meaty parts. For the ones that are casually meet-and-greet, I'm gonna let those go if that's okay! But I'm fully up for starting something new. Logan's just not much of a small talk guy.

— I've had Logan working graveyard shifts stocking shelves and other similar jobs. He's mostly been doing this because 1) his sleep sucks; and 2) he's sharing a motel room with Charles and figures he might as well work the nights so they're not in each other's way all the time. I would be down for CR that stems from people who are working the same job/shift!

— He's been exploring/scavenging the diffusion zones since he's looking after Charles, too, at the moment. If you want to run into him out there, get in trouble in his vicinity, or cause trouble in his vicinity, I'm up for all those things.

— As one of the X-Men, Logan will be working with (what's left of) the team, including (deep sigh) Scott Summers. A friend of one of the X-Men is...uh, not necessarily immediately a friend of his, but he'll at least hear you out instead of slamming the door.

— His healing factor is fairly robust and I'm happy to use this for shenanigans or anything you want. He's been disembowelled, shot, and nuked, and he survives it all. He makes for a pretty good bodyguard as a result.

Limits: Nothing I can think of for now! I just ask if CR starts mega antagonistic/aggressive out of the gate that you discuss it with me before you dive in with that because Logan can, and has, stabbed people for less. Mildly negative CR is fine, though! Logan can be an asshole; he's liable to attract other assholes.

✷ Viktor is going to be pretty invested with keeping Jayce alive, which means getting some kind of machine repair job and ideally getting involved in the Scrapyard. Fixing things is something he can do, and having caused a great deal of calamity with his magic powers he is sort of looking forward to getting back to his engineering/inventing roots.
✷ besides all of his weird baggage he IS a scientist and will at the very least enjoy discovering new technology and meeting new people.
✷ learning about the multiverse! his Last Known Activity™ was peacing out into parts unknown so he’s pretty primed for this and will be very “this might as well happen” about it.
✷ More existentially, Viktor is no longer human and trying to figure out what that means. There is no going back from his transformation, but he’s now fully aware of what his plan to eliminate human suffering almost wrought (the apocalypse), so he’ll need to spend some time figuring out his emotions again and re-learning how to be himself.

About: MINOR SPOILERS FOR EXPEDITION 33 PREMISE
The non-spoiler TL;DR is that every year, this entity called the Paintress writes a number on a giant monolith in the distance. When that number appears, anyone who is that age or older instantly dies. We're at 33 now, so things are pretty damn dire.

Sciel is a farmer turned school teacher, now an expeditioner on a mission to stop the horrible creature that continues to threaten their world. She's easygoing, loves fighting, wields a scythe (that didn't come with her), and she's got some minor astromancy going on. She has a pack of cards (which may or may not be tarot cards) that she uses to buff her party and herself, and she likes doing big damage. Despite being the peacekeeper of her party and the emotional rock, Sciel harbors a great deal of grief in her life, and it keeps her going. She has a pragmatic view of the world but veers others towards hopefulness. She's also exceedingly perceptive about people and things (kind of like a hunter) and just has a great deal of empathy for the people around her. Aaaand she's pretty silly sometimes too. c:

Wanted CR: Obligatory "friends, allies, etc." for everything. Sciel likes people! She likes hanging out with people and helping them. If you wanted a supportive friend, that's her!

CR Options: More hopeful people to help her stay the course, other perceptive types. Magical colleagues (bonus for other astromancers or similar star/celestial bodies-lovers)! Big fighter types or want to trade blows for funsies.

Sciel is easy to get CR with but it's likely going to be a bit more "shallow" on her end, as she doesn't open up so easily about herself; however, she gives her whole heart towards other people and their struggles, and will easily offer anything she can to others.

Plots/Plans: Sciel will be uniting/reuniting with her crew and will be running interference in their shenanigans. But overall, she wants to see this world and figure it out, help the people in the city and whatnot. While she's driven to go back home (bc of the whole...ticking clock thing and the number on the monolith), she also wants to experience what this world has to offer. And she got a cool car! She does want to figure out food sources as the place looks pretty bad, and as a farmer she's interested in the agriculture here. (Are there monsters? Can she go fight monsters for people??)

Otherwise, we're just vibing.

Limits: Nothing really, though I will be avoiding outright spoilers everywhere and anywhere for at least another month in case people want. When there are spoilers, they'll be marked.

About: i included her basic background in her info post but basically jyn is if a feral cat had human form. she comes from the star wars galaxy and her life has been wrecked by the empire, she's the biological daughter of a scientist conscripted to work on the death star and the adopted daughter of a rebel soldier and was abandoned by them both, so she has a lot of trust and abandonment issues, but underneath that, she has a really good heart and just wants to help.

former mercenary turned vigilante, embarrassingly violent, sort of (but not really) the son of an ancient egyptian moon god that demands vengeance.

mk is a man that has died MULTIPLE TIMES and has what he admits is an addiction to violence, but despite his history as a mercenary and status as a war criminal, he's ultimately — now — well-meaning, he simply has precisely zero chill.

there is a very solid chance he'll introduce himself as 'moon knight' or 'mr. knight' and will make a mask out of, idk, a bedsheet or similar. given his canon point, he's very certain he's dead, and in a similar vein to moench's resurrection wars, marc's convinced this isn't entirely real.

but, like, that's fine. that's just what happens when you're him.

Wanted CR:

other vigilante types, anyone that is even remotely conflicted about themselves as a person (marc has a lot of experience with that! he may not be good with advice, but you know).

he's not the easiest guy to make friends with, but people that are knocking on that door would be grand — despite everything, he's surprisingly (remarkably!) tolerant, especially of people who are seeking some kind of redemption or dealing with guilt and/or trying to be better than they've typically been. he's a dick, but like... he gets it, ya feel?

Plots/Plans:

marc spector being marc spector, he'll have avoided getting anything that resembles an actual job — if asked, he might have muttered something about being a priest and not actually needing money, but obviously that's bullshit. he's more inclined towards ripping off/attacking/etcetera criminals/criminally-minded folks, albeit less for cash and more for THINGS.

PAST THIS, i have zero intentions and plans. mk is a guy that, despite everything, will mostly vibe.

he will just be out and about in what amounts to a three-piece suit in varying states of bloodiness, no, he won't be bothered by it. he will also set himself up as some kind of neighborhood friendly... moon... man, because that's where he's at in canon, he's just a little WEIRD about it.

About: Fern is a shifter! Meaning she's not quite a werewolf, but something in-between. She always has some canine/bestial features, but she can briefly shift into a more animalistic form, usually in battle or when crashing out in some way. She and a few others ended up isekai'd into the land of Barovia (led by a super evil vampire lord) where she's been for the past month-plus, dealing with the Horrors pretty much every day. She's a rogue, so she's good at sneaking around, unlocking things, etc. She's distrusting and suspicious of others in general, and Barovia has just made that worse. Once she starts to trust someone or consider them a member of her "pack," though, she's ride or die.

Wanted CR: With everything so brand new, it really is just a matter of figuring out what character traits or background details might be good for CR, but! As a quick list:

➼ Any vampires, werewolves, or other supernatural creatures in a similar vein will almost certainly catch her interest. Vampires are definitely going to be heavily distrusted unless she's given a reason not to, but that might be fun.
➼ Anyone she can accidentally recognize as a race from Faerûn (elves, dwarves, halflings, etc etc.)
➼ Other people who feel like they don't really "belong" in normal society, she will likely feel drawn to or feel a kinship with once she realizes that.
➼ Anyone else want to sneak around in places and investigate stuff? She'll appreciate anyone who's good at keeping a low profile, like she does.
➼ Alternatively, good party composition means having some variety! A tank, healer, or magic glass cannon type to offset her rogue stuff would also make for some fun threads.
➼ Despite how prickly Fern might be, she really is someone who's just looking for a place to belong. She just tends to make that hard for herself, but I really would love anyone who would just aggressively befriend her.
➼ Lady friends? She's always stuck around stinky boys for some reason, but she more easily feels comfortable/gets along with women, historically speaking.
➼ If you've met that Adrian guy, Fern knows him pretty well. They were traveling together in Barovia, so chances are that he might have mentioned her in passing.

Plots/Plans: WELL, looking at the Bulletin, Fern is definitely going to be squinting at the blood donation racket that's going on, so I'll probably be sending the mods some questions about that, if anyone else was interested in exploring that little nugget of world flavor. Fern kinda needs to learn how to use her phone, too. She has one, but I don't think she fully grasps texting yet, so please, spam her inbox.

Work-wise, I think I'm going to have her working at whatever this world's version of an inn is, since she has some experience in that from when she was younger. Waiting tables, making up beds, etc. It's not luxurious, but she needs money.

I think she'll start exploring the diffusion zones because she's curious, and she'll also be looking out for the rest of her friends from Barovia because if Adrian is here, maybe so are the others. She'll be cautious but also willing to go into dangerous areas because she thinks she can handle herself, so... maybe someone to convince her she should have one buddy at least?

Regarding TDM threads, I'm down to keep them going but also might be looking to wrap up ones that are just basic introductions or small talk! We can get on to meatier things now that the game is open.

Limits: Nothing, really! Fern can get prickly and even aggressive depending, but she's usually good about not just immediately stabbing people, lmfao. If anything gets to that point, I'll definitely reach out, but she'll be less on-edge the longer she's here.

About: Wrench is a former hitman for the Fargo crime syndicate, which operated for decades across the Upper Midwest. He was groomed from an early age by the syndicate's leader and boss, who instructed Wrench and his partner Numbers to kill at his behest. During one mission about five years ago, Wrench's partner was murdered, the syndicate was ambushed and obliterated, and just like that Wrench found himself the sole survivor. He spent about a half-decade on the run from the US Marshals before being captured, but (fortunately!) his prison bus was ambushed and he and another inmate escaped into the woods, shackled to one another. Wrench is appearing here having just been violently stalked through the woods and mortally wounded in the process.

Wanted CR: Enthusiastically taking all comers. At this point in his canon, Wrench has just narrowly escaped being carted off to prison. He's had an encounter with a supernatural being in a liminal space intended to represent purgatory, and been sent on his way with an assertion that he's "on a better path now." Up until now, Wrench has pretty much lived his life entirely isolated from others by the syndicate, so just... being out in the world and peopling is going to be very different for him. Initially he'll likely be very reticent to get close to anyone he might be forced to see more than once, but he's a man fascinated by people and their stories.

Plots/Plans: At this point I am here to explore it all.

Limits: My only hard and fast "cannot engage with this content" is physical trauma to the neck and/or the wrists, but that's an OOC trigger and not something we're likely to just fall into, so I'm happy for whatever comes my way!

About: Wade Winston Wilson is ~~a babygirl~~ an ex-Special Forces Canadian turned merc who got cancer and made an increasingly bad series of decisions that led to him becoming a mutant with Mega Cancer who cannot die. He then started a business of doubling down on being an unkillable merc hell-bent on revenge, and once life was good and his revenge was got he made another series of bad decisions that got him two more movies where he saved a kid's life (by preventing him from becoming a serial killer in the future) in one, and saved the literal entire multiverse from spaghettified extinction, living up to his new official title of Marvel Jesus, in the other. Expect to see soooo much more of him as long as he continues to make Disney a lot of money.

He is kind of what happens when an immortal crashes out but it's also filmed for the audiences of the world to enjoy. Wade currently is from 2024 where he is roommates with the multiverse's Worst Version of Wolverine and a blind cocaine addict and you will know it based on the references I am forced to put into my tags (I mean that he's from 2024, not the other stuff). Please note (as described in the opt-in/opt-out) he is imbued with the magic of having knowledge of the Fourth Wall, and let me tell you, he's not super thrilled about being in a literal sandbox game. He is technically from Earth-10005, which is basically where the Fox X-Men movies happened, but he has knowledge of the entire MCU.

Wade's redeeming feature is he is extremely in love with anyone he deems "family," which tends to be 1) famous mutants, 2) normal people who can stand to be around him, 3) a secret third thing. He is 100% ride or die for these people to an outright frightening degree. He has a soft heart under all the murder for the right people, but it's an Unknown Factor what, exactly, will make him care about the right people.

He has a propensity for hard drugs and self-harm, so please keep in mind these will probably come up in tags!

Wanted CR:
- Scary men with metal limbs (he WILL flirt with you)
- Women who want to join girls' nights with Wade, which he is hosting, he is genderblind please respect his wishes (this is a safe space)

Wade is extremely easy to get along with (in his mind) because he is bothered by very, very little, and there is very little he takes seriously. On the other hand, to most characters, Wade is extremely annoying, overly chatty, makes constant references they don't understand, and also has a nebulous relationship with the idea of respecting life in all its forms. He is extremely dangerous but will not hurt people for no reason, though! Only bad guys get hurt now that he's, like, hero-adjacent. Ultimately he is more likely to hurt himself, as a joke.

Plots/Plans: Wade is unmalleable as the wind, so I don't have a TON of plans for him. His TDM threads included breaking into random motel rooms and pretending to drown for a laugh. He is completely unserious, I'm sorry. I am happy to keep these canon!

He will likely go back to being a mercenary for money, which in the past has included up to doing jobs of helping cats out of trees, so it sort of boils down to "any job that gives him money." He loves money and constantly works for it, but he never seems to have... any... ??

Plots/Plans:
- Right now mostly getting established, figuring out this world and help people in the city. She's seen a lot of space anomalies so she's not particularly jarred by the concept of fluxdrifts, but she thinks there must be some force driving it. Any characters wanting to investigate or broadly explore she would find interest in, or any with other space-faring experience.
- She'll also feeling naked without her suit so she'll be very interested in scavenging for supplies, especially armor and weapons. Perhaps a Very Cool Poncho just for aura?
- She's not entirely human herself despite outward appearances so other obvious non-humans she will gravitate towards.
- Picking up a job for money. She'll want to employ herself in bouncer/body guard/mercenary type directions since that's all she convinces herself to be good for, but I could also see her going in mechanical repair directions if someone encourages her?

Limits: I like witty banter and teasing but I'm really exhausted by 'troll' characters lately that just want zingers and don't offer deeper CR, so preferably none of that; Samus is prone to ignore/not engage foolishness anyway unless it's made personal. As for any horror stuff no limits; I'm old and jaded GIVE ME ALL YOUR HORROR I love it.

About: Sunday is a former(?) antagonist who was the leader of a powerful main branch of The Family, a theoretically unified organization on the planet of Penacony, a planet where others go to "dream" within the Dreamscape created by The Family - if you can afford the fees to get in let alone stay in.

He had a shared dream with his beloved sister to create a better world where others wouldn't suffer. That might've been a nice plan if it'd stayed there, but things went too far as they do in RPGs when the guy who desperately wants this is willing to sacrifice everything. Sunday took a powerful position in a festival meant to honor the Harmony (An Aeon or a god figure in canon) and transformed with the intent of making it so others stayed asleep within the dream with the powers of another Aeon he'd aligned with to trap everyone within that Aeon's dream state. This resulted in a boss battle where he was hit multiple times with a space train until he was defeated.

This is an incredibly short summary of a pretty massive storyline but I promise to have more specifics in his info soon. His current canon point is after he was released from jail for many crimes because his sister made a deal with space capitalists where he'll have to eventually pay the debt for it. He's specifically from post 2.7 and mid-warp jump to Amphoreus purely because I thought it would be funny for him to be sent somewhere else right as his travels start.

Wanted CR: EVERYTHING, I'm open to everything since things are just getting started! Count me in for threads of just putting characters together to see what happens. As for some other ideas:

- Friends ... Sunday could use like, Actual Friends for what's possibly the first time in his life since it's debatable whether he's had any besides his sister and he sure strained that relationship too. This might be a long process but it's one I'm up for!
- Other telepaths or those with psychic abilities, either come say hello or let him stumble across those abilities! I'm up for anyone reading his mind since It's A Mess so I can give you stuff to work with in tags.
- Did you also try to save your world and fail miserably or better yet, did you succeed? Please tell him your methods. He's desperate to know.
- A roommate at some point! Or multiple roommates for the chaos. Sunday was a rich guy in his past life complete with questioning what a banana really costs and prefers his personal space, but what with a debt to work off: things change. He could actually be great at budgeting once he figures out he has to so that is... one plus...?
- For any musically inclined characters, would you like a musician friend? Sunday plays piano and can sing thanks to those Harmony powers and all their musical themes. His preference is meticulously arranged scores of music, but he'd like to hear all kinds of music. He could use things to listen to in his car while he does his best to get some instrument eventually.
- Also, please feel free at any time to notice this guy has a great facade going but is really doing his best to hold it together. He'll hate being perceived but it'll be good for him.
- My main goal is to give Sunday a chance to explore things outside of the intense burdens he's carried for years so really, I'm looking forward to seeing where he goes whether that's him continuing his redemption arc, or. Not.

Plots/Plans: This month is probably going to be focusing on getting settled in, but for a couple things:

- For TDM threads I've been hit with a couple really busy weeks at work so my apologies for slowness all around. I plan on getting back to tags tonight but if there's anything best brought to a close or handwaved, just let me know! I'd love to keep things game canon and I'm in to swap a TDM thread for one at the upcoming mingle.
- Road trips! Or just any trips tbh since I'd really like to missions, road trips, whatever else. His car can hold a good number of passengers so the more the merrier while he tries learning how to go with the flow of things. Pretty sure he's also never camped in his life so I'd love a longer trip with a chance to do this.
- Do you need a support for your fight? Sunday's not a fighter himself but he does have some abilities which can make someone who is good at fighting even better at it. He may also need to be rescued from situations he can't manipulate himself out of if anyone would like to do that at some point.

Limits: I'm not opposed to negative CR if that's what happens since Sunday can be a jerk, to say the least, and he's not always aware he's being one. I would like it to have a goal though if possible since otherwise it's difficult for me to keep up, so let's chat about it if it happens. Other than that nothing else comes to mind at this point!

About: Year after year, the Paintress paints a number and everyone of that age dies in a event called the Gommage. Wanting to end the cycle of death, the city of Lumière sends out an Expedition to deal with the Paintress.

Maelle is the youngest member of Expedition 33 at half the age of her companions. Though it is still nine years until her Gommage, she has always struggled fitting in, bouncing around orphanages and families since the age of three. Finding little semblance of fulfillment in Lumière, she felt that setting off to the Continent will provide her the escape she needs, and perhaps sate her curiosity in finding some place where she truly belongs. Though she is Gustave's ward, she is a bit of a problem child, a bit of a loner, and is sassy to say the least. Shocking, I know. She is also adept with a rapier and can pack a much harder punch that one might expect. That way, she'll be able to burn you with her weapon and her words.

Maelle might also leave a trail of destruction in her wake, driving around with the same chaotic energy of Mr. Bean, tiny car included.

Wanted CR:

Plots/Plans: Getting to know other people and familiarizing herself with this new world, first and foremost, and catching up with the rest of the Expedition who've found themselves here. Maelle will try to also get a lay of the land, so she can learn the ins and outs of the city, and hopefully possibly diffusion zones in the future. Someone will need to help her out with technology though considering that's one of the more advanced things that she will need to get used to while she's here.

As for the bulletin, I'm interested in Bowling Ball Homicide, so if anyone wants to do something with that, hit me up.

Limits: Open to almost anything, really, but ping me if you're unsure. Considering how new the game is, I will be marking spoilers accordingly and avoiding them as much as possible for non-canon mates (and those who are playing/plan to play the game) until the end of the month.
