Welcome!

It's time to introduce yourselves! Use the form below to get out there and start plotting. New and old players alike are encouraged to post to the Intro & CR.

A mingle log will be posted on June 8.
While we won't be doing intro/mingle logs every application round, we'll have one for the first two rounds (June and August) to help everyone get settled! You can also check out the Bulletin for information on weather, broadcasts, and incidents.

Notes

• Characters can arrive in-game on any date throughout the month of the TDM. This means characters do not have to, and typically will not, arrive all at once. Arrivals will be scattered and more difficult to predict. Use this to stagger CR, give characters a couple weeks without seeing each other, or whatever you feel makes it interesting!
• Since base AC is low, players need to make AC for their first month. TDM threads continued into the month are perfectly acceptable as long as the comments submitted take place in the current month.

Updates

• We've made some updates to the Invites page to reflect the game's current player cap status and added a player cap count to the Taken page. Our player cap is formally 70 players. The FAQ has also been updated to reflect these changes.
• A reminder that the 2 characters per round allocation was for the first round only. Moving forward, all players, current and new, can only apply for one character per app round. (You may still have a total of 2 characters.)

Oh yes it sounds like they have a ton in common!! I'm also canon blind so we'll be two peas in a pod in that sense.

I would very much like to throw them together! Especially after recent history not!dying? I don't imagine that would come up easily but G'raha would definitely sympathize with the complicated feelings that can come up with it.

(And doubly yes for being tummy ache survivors together...misery loves company)

for sure!! i don't know that sunday would bring it up either without like, them talking a few times and/or stumbling across things they have in common first even if he also sorta assumes What He Did is cosmic-wide news since he hasn't learned it's not at his canon point. something to work towards for sure since he's pretty introverted overall and while he's not a science guy he WOULD be extremely curious to hear about everything g'raha is working on, as a guy from space less familiar with the rifts part of it

MISERY ABSOLUTELY LOVES COMPANY THOUGH so best of luck to them in their eating challenge, if there's something in the mingle that gives us this option i'm up for this being how they meet also!

Oh yes, absolutely! I am all for the slow build of relationships and learning information. I'm sure there will be some trauma that they get to experience that can help "smooth" things along as well. (The horrors...the HORRORS.)

G'raha is decently friendly and while he won't ever like impose himself on other people, he would be happy to talk and share information! So he can definitely be an instigator in that sense. He would gladly ask Sunday about the world he came from as well.

THE SOON TO BE HORRORS the absolutely best way to get some bonding in (i say, ready to toss my character into them at all times)

that would definitely work! sunday also fortunately/sometimes unfortunately likes to talk so once he gets going hes happy to talk about any number of things. especially with being a little homesick now and then since he can't go home even if he wasn't here so this is the perfect opportunity to talk about it and compare some technology notes if g'raha would also like those as part of his research.

i'm very excited for all of this and things with g'raha!!
