Welcome!

It's time to introduce yourselves! Use the form below to get out there and start plotting. New and old players alike are encouraged to post to the Intro & CR.

A mingle log will be posted on June 8.
While we won't be doing intro/mingle logs every application round, we'll have one for the first two rounds (June and August) to help everyone get settled! You can also check out the Bulletin for information on weather, broadcasts, and incidents.

Notes

• Characters can arrive in-game on any date throughout the month of the TDM. This means characters do not have to, and typically will not, arrive all at once. Arrivals will be scattered and more difficult to predict. Use this to stagger CR, give characters a couple weeks without seeing each other, or whatever you feel makes it interesting!
• Since base AC is low, players need to make AC for their first month. TDM threads continued into the month are perfectly acceptable as long as the comments submitted take place in the current month.

Updates

• We've made some updates to the Invites page to reflect the game's current player cap status and added a player cap count to the Taken page. Our player cap is formally 70 players. The FAQ has also been updated to reflect these changes.
• A reminder that the 2 characters per round allocation was for the first round only. Moving forward, all players, current and new, can only apply for one character per app round. (You may still have a total of 2 characters.)

jesse generally can't shut up, so it might be interesting to throw them in a thread. maybe he'll learn there's some value in being quiet for once? (unlikely, but one can hope). jesse is also your resident punching bag, so i'll never turn down a fight scene with him, though he probably wouldn't initiate one with her, so it might take some plotting to figure out how to make it happen.

Characters who don't shut up are great because then Kimiko can interact without falling flat on her face!

Fighting might be more difficult; she tries not to hurt people who haven't given her cause, because she's insanely strong and non-powered human beings are so squishy. I don't know much about Jesse — what are the odds he ends up doing something questionable/criminal? She's also going to be cage fighting, if that's a thing he's likely to volunteer for.

he only breaks laws on days that end in y.
it's one of those things where he's 100% a criminal, but one with a conscience and who has a moral code with hard lines he won't cross. guilt also tends to eat him alive whenever he's forced to push those boundaries or whenever someone gets caught in the crossfire (long story short, he's a drug dealer and manufacturer who was trying to get out of the business after a close call with the DEA, but then was blackmailed into working with a new partner, walter white, jesse's ex-highschool chemistry teacher who got cancer and needed to turn to manufacturing and distributing methamphetamine because of the dumpster fire that is the american healthcare system).

jesse cage fighting would be hilarious, but i don't think he'll be getting into that unless he's reallllly hurting for cash and it's something he can make money on. he would have to be pretty desperate, though. it's more likely to happen after a canon-update or two. he's still pretty soft in the canon-point i'm bringing him in from.

but hanging out would be fun!
