Welcome!

It's time to introduce yourselves! Use the form below to get out there and start plotting. New and old players alike are encouraged to post to the Intro & CR.

A mingle log will be posted on June 8.
While we won't be doing intro/mingle logs every application round, we'll have one for the first two rounds (June and August) to help everyone get settled! You can also check out the Bulletin for information on weather, broadcasts, and incidents.

Notes

• Characters can arrive in-game on any date throughout the month of the TDM. This means characters do not have to, and typically will not, arrive all at once. Arrivals will be scattered and more difficult to predict. Use this to stagger CR, give characters a couple weeks without seeing each other, or whatever you feel makes it interesting!
• Since base AC is low, players need to make AC for their first month. TDM threads continued into the month are perfectly acceptable as long as the comments submitted take place in the current month.

Updates

• We've made some updates to the Invites page to reflect the game's current player cap status and added a player cap count to the Taken page. Our player cap is formally 70 players. The FAQ has also been updated to reflect these changes.
• A reminder that the 2 characters per round allocation was for the first round only. Moving forward, all players, current and new, can only apply for one character per app round. (You may still have a total of 2 characters.)

About: i included her basic background in her info post but basically jyn is if a feral cat had human form. she comes from the star wars galaxy and her life has been wrecked by the empire, she's the biological daughter of a scientist conscripted to work on the death star and the adopted daughter of a rebel soldier and was abandoned by them both, so she has a lot of trust and abandonment issues, but underneath that, she has a really good heart and just wants to help.

Wanted CR: not to be a total cliche, but i'm genuinely open to anything. looking for friends, found family types of things, people from similar canons or who have similar traumatized backgrounds that they can really bond over. the thing about jyn is that even if she's a little prickly, she really can form bonds with all kinds of different people. also, mildly negative cr with someone who just annoys her for no real reason is funny too, so i'm also up for that. i would be up for hookups, etc, and i would also be up for romantic cr if things went that way, but do keep in mind it would be a slowburn because. whew.

Plots/Plans: so jyn, so far, has mostly been discovering that she can play bumper cars with her giant truck, occasionally helping in emergencies, and discovering that the guy who died with her doesn't remember who she is lmfao. oh yeah, there's that whole she died and now she's here thing, cool. i'm pretty wide open on her character direction, but one of the things i'm really up for is putting her in situations where she's forced to trust people, and really working through some of her issues.

Limits: honestly i don't really have a lot of ooc limits! just be mindful that jyn can have a tendency to be slightly distrustful and combative, especially when first meeting people, so if you're absolutely not about negative cr ever, she probably isn't your girl LMAO

i was literally just about to come to you and say the same thing, so yes! they should totally meet. jyn has done a lot of ambiguously illegal things like selling forged scandocs on the black market before reconnecting with the rebellion proper, so she and a pirate like jack are a great combo

hi there, caitlin! i'm court and i've brought a d&d oc here, wrings hands. but!! given that these two are feral and prickly types, i think it might be fun to toss them together. also because i feel like jyn wouldn't blink at fern's features because she's seen all sorts of aliens, lbr, so that would earn her some points. i almost tagged you on the tdm but got overloaded with threads, but!! now... we have all the opportunities in the world.
