Welcome!
It's time to introduce yourselves! Use the form below to get out there and start plotting. New and old players alike are encouraged to post to the Intro & CR.

- Characters can arrive in-game on any date throughout the month of the TDM. This means characters do not have to, and typically will not, arrive all at once. Arrivals will be scattered and more difficult to predict. Use this to stagger CR, give characters a couple weeks without seeing each other, or whatever you feel makes it interesting!
- Since base AC is low, players need to make AC for their first month. TDM threads continued into the month are perfectly acceptable as long as the comments submitted take place in the current month.
- We've made some updates to the Invites page to reflect the game's current player cap status and added a player cap count to the Taken page. Our player cap is formally 70 players. The FAQ has also been updated to reflect these changes.
- A reminder that the 2 characters per round allocation was for the first round only. Moving forward, all players, current and new, can only apply for one character per app round. (You may still have a total of 2 characters.)

i'm court and i play fern, who is an original character from a d&d campaign. but one that is full of horrors, because curse of strahd is like that. anyway, she and adrian know each other -- i think he and marc met on the tdm?
i think it'd be funny for fern to spot the crescent moon sprays around and be baffled by them and then meet marc and just be like wait... that was you... what is that even about, dude. that's all i've got for now, lmfao, but i will say she also fits the "strong-willed and will push back" thing that you mentioned!

but having just had a look at your post for fern, mk might actually be good for a couple of avenues!! he'll be fully on-board for sneaking into places and investigating (ex-marines and ex-cia, baby! he got kicked out tho), and his whole approach to fighting is DEFENCE IS TOTES A SUGGESTION. but more than that, while he wouldn't really do aggressively befriending (man barely knows what a friend is), he does have a massive soft spot for people who want to find their place in the world when they're misfits/outcasts/DIFFICULT. his current arc in the comics has revolved around how he carves that out despite being a fucking difficult asshole himself.

i've embarrassingly only watched part of s1 of breaking bad, so i'm not very familiar with jesse at all, but that's the joy of rp, man. marc will almost definitely find jesse annoying, but he's a lot more tolerant than he used to be and tbh the effort of trying to be better goes a very, very long way with him, so it could be interesting either way!

BUT ALSO, giving your post a quick glance, outside of marc's ... marc-ness, "Eldritch horrors are my magical sugar daddies support group" (hi, moon god bird dad), "Do you wanna talk about religion" (marc very much does NOT want to talk about religion, but it's kind of mixed in with way more of himself than he's inclined to admit to), and KIND OF "weird costly magic/power situations (see: moon god bird dad and being brought back from the dead ???? amounts of time).
oh my god, marc would be so appreciative of that while he only has one, singular, sad suit versus the however many of the exact same one he had at home. like, on the one hand, the blood is an effective visual something something, on the other hand, the effect changes once the blood's, yk, dried.

i am completely canon blind to leverage (do i actually watch anything? ALL SIGNS POINT TO NO), but given the closest thing marc has to a friend in the superhero set is ...frank... castle... i will agree that it'll probably be one extreme or the other, precisely zero in-between.
but looking at your post for eliot, i feel that eliot will probably judge marc for his whole ... approach to everything, but especially food and possibly sleep. but marc's former bestie was a man who judged marc for everything, so that's not a deterrent at all.

looking at your post for daisy (i'm canon blind! what's new!), maybe it could be interesting if they encounter each other in some shape or form cage fighting — marc would definitely gravitate towards it as an "easy" way of getting some cash, given he used to do underground boxing as a merc. otherwise, they definitely seem to have a lot in common wheezes which may or may not be a good thing for daisy
