Welcome to our first EMP! If you're unsure of who to app, are deciding between characters, or simply want to see who's bringing who, you can participate below. It is not a reserve. Reserves will open May 28.

- If considering multiple characters, post each one individually under a top-level comment with your PLAYER NAME in the subject line.
- The TDM is scheduled for May 15. It will be open to all. No invite required to participate.
- Invite requests will open with the TDM on May 15. You're welcome to submit earlier but we will not be answering them until after the TDM opens.
- The TDM will have a section where you can express interest in receiving an invite if you don't know anyone in the game. Requests are public but replies to requests will be private.
- For the first round only, all invited players can app up to 2 characters provided they are not from the same franchise or canon. Playing from the same franchise/canon is allowed, but you can't apply for both in a single round. See the FAQ for more.
In the future, we'll also have a separate ATP form. Since the game is brand new, however, you'll find a small ATP section in the EMP form instead where you can ask for castmates alongside your EMP post!

Character
for some reason the internet has named peppa pig her mortal enemy. if you think you're getting context from me i truly don't have anything either.
Name: lucina
Canon: fire emblem: awakening
About: the blue haired lord of every fire emblem franchise. JRPG protag through and through. her bloodline is chosen nice dragon (god?) to wield a legendary sword to defeat an evil dragon (god?), but due to circumstances her world was past the point of saving by the time she was old enough to do anything about it ( spoilers: this doesn't stop her from trying ).
kind, friendly, serious, dutiful to a fault. incredibly defensive of the people she cares about, #1 of which being her dad. will commit as much murder as it takes for her causes. officially named the cast's "least likely to get a joke", but her sense of humor tends to run strange and morbid when it does shine. all of this makes her the perfect straightman for shenanigans as long as it's justified (this is not hard to do).
Plans/Ideas: for the canon familiar — i'm taking her from post-canon! for everyone else, i'm taking her at a point where she's just lost her Big Purpose in life (saving the world) and throwing her into a world where she has to live for herself. i'm excited to get a little existential about it, basically. no super set-in stone plans just yet, but being who i am here are a bunch of silly ones:
Any characters you want to see in the game? i cannot imagine i'll get castmates in tyool 2025, BUT... my kingdom for the kids, chrom... i think any awakening cast member has the potential to be incredible. also i've been reminded smash bros is a game she is in so i just think 'smash cr' as a concept is funny, thank u

i think their sort of straight-forward, no nonsense personalities are pretty similar? potentially? but they're women who can swing around blades and get shit done and also ye oldes so i want them to meet... please...

i think the ye oldes need to have a race with their cars to see who can drive in the straightest line and crash into something at the end. but also your comment caught my attn bc she had?? her sense of hope taken away at some point???? please i am playing the embodiment of (delusional) hope here this is going to be delicious.

and yes it was a whole thing. long story short they tried to fight off some hags who were eating children (yikes) but were in way over their heads, so to not die they had to give up various non-material things. fern lost her hope! which is kind of an interesting thing to play around with in a game where i didn't want her to just give up at every turn, but i try to work it in where i can. she basically just never expects anything to really work out, which to her credit is normally how things go in barovia, lmfao. HELP HER HAVE HOPE, LUCINA.
