Welcome!
It's time to introduce yourselves! Use the form below to get out there and start plotting. New and old players alike are encouraged to post to the Intro & CR.

- Characters can arrive in-game on any date throughout the month of the TDM. This means characters do not have to, and typically will not, arrive all at once. Arrivals will be scattered and more difficult to predict. Use this to stagger CR, give characters a couple weeks without seeing each other, or whatever you feel makes it interesting!
- Since base AC is low, players need to make AC for their first month. TDM threads continued into the month are perfectly acceptable as long as the comments submitted take place in the current month.
- We've made some updates to the Invites page to reflect the game's current player cap status and added a player cap count to the Taken page. Our player cap is formally 70 players. The FAQ has also been updated to reflect these changes.
- A reminder that the 2 characters per round allocation was for the first round only. Moving forward, all players, current and new, can only apply for one character per app round. (You may still have a total of 2 characters.)

ANYHOW... i am happy to offer this not!werewolf for john to meet. she's pretty no-nonsense about it because she is used to getting side-eyed for her status as a shifter. however, she would appreciate john's need to get to the bottom of what's going on with this world, so if he's good at investigating that kinda stuff, fern would find him useful/interesting and would be willing to handle the martial side of things! so maybe we can have them meet at some point.

i mentioned this to sra, but i absolutely love ttrpg ocs so i would similarly love to thread w fern! honestly, she's a bit of a girl out for my own heart... i love shifters/anthros/furries/etc, and my current dnd character is actually a werewolf himself. 😄 i think these two would be a really good team, as i think he'd probably be fairly good at the investigative side of things (courtesy of eldritch powers of observation, and all)

i'm so glad to come across other ttrpg fans!! and UGH YES, love a good furry/shifter deal. i have always wanted to rp a werewolf but have somehow never really been pinged by a canon one (i think i got close with being human) so i was like... i'll just make one, lmfao. even if she's not a full werewolf, close enough. BUT AHHH that's so cool that you have a werewolf oc, please tell me about him sometime!
i talked about this with martin's player, but martin is to john as fern is to adrian, so chances are that john will end up exhausting her a little with his warlock vibes lmfao. JUST BC YOU CAN INTERACT WITH THE ELDRITCH THING DOESN'T MEAN YOU SHOULD??? i do think they'll work together well, though, despite that!

hell yeah, i'd love to! the really long campaigns i've been doing with my friends have all been homebrewed (original settings, scenarios, etc.) by our DM, so i'm admittedly less familiar with some of the more official dnd worlds/campaigns (though i did briefly join my roommates for an in-person strahd campaign, which we didn't finish). my oc is actually a homebrewed werefolk race, so it's probably a bit closer to how shifters function vs. how werewolves tend to function in normal dnd (as a curse)? though if we weren't playing with homebrewed stuff, i probably would've eyed shifters... they are so neat

that's so cool that they were homebrewed, though! and must have been a ton of work, i bet, but also super rewarding. a lot of the best stuff we've done in strahd has been fan modules, it's kinda wild. all werewolves and shifters are cool though, ok!! i definitely picked shifter for this campaign precisely because i knew we'd be interacting with werewolves so i thought it'd be fun.
THAT'S... A HECK OF A CONNECTION THERE, JOHN. doesn't sound Great, tbqh. i do hope fern gets to learn about it one day so she can be quietly horrified, lmao.

yeah, it's a ton of work, and i'm so grateful for our DM for it. but, man, i believe it! it's amazing how much creative effort people put into stuff like tabletop for so little in return (stars and hearts in my eyes). i do LOVE that for her, though... sad i never interacted with any werewolves in my brief strahd campaign (though at the time i was playing my owlin celestial warlock...)
it's not Great, but, ya know 😬 sometimes it's not much of a choice... but haha YAY if either john or his Situation (or both. or various combinations) aren't vaguely terrifying on some level, i'm not doing my job right

YEAH, DMs/GMs are truly the most amazing, idk how they do all that work but i appreciate them so muuuuch. OH A WARLOCK THO, those are always fun. it does take a bit to get to the werewolves. i'm going to have the dubious honor of having finished a strahd campaign soon, which is just Wild to think about.
