Welcome!

It's time to introduce yourselves! Use the form below to get out there and start plotting. New and old players alike are encouraged to post to the Intro & CR.

A mingle log will be posted on June 8.
While we won't be doing intro/mingle logs every application round, we'll have one for the first two rounds (June and August) to help everyone get settled! You can also check out the Bulletin for information on weather, broadcasts, and incidents.

Notes

• Characters can arrive in-game on any date throughout the month of the TDM. This means characters do not have to, and typically will not, arrive all at once. Arrivals will be scattered and more difficult to predict. Use this to stagger CR, give characters a couple weeks without seeing each other, or whatever you feel makes it interesting!
• Since base AC is low, players need to make AC for their first month. TDM threads continued into the month are perfectly acceptable as long as the comments submitted take place in the current month.

Updates

• We've made some updates to the Invites page to reflect the game's current player cap status and added a player cap count to the Taken page. Our player cap is formally 70 players. The FAQ has also been updated to reflect these changes.
• A reminder that the 2 characters per round allocation was for the first round only. Moving forward, all players, current and new, can only apply for one character per app round. (You may still have a total of 2 characters.)

Hi there MJ! I'm Kris here with Amos Burton from The Expanse! I was so bummed I didn't get around to tagging Sally on the TDM, I just ran out of time/capacity, but with the game kicking off, I'd really love the chance to toss these two together at some point and just see how their CR shakes out!

Yes please I very much concur!! I watched a bit of The Expanse so I know Amos is pretty dang morally grey, if I am recalling correctly? Got that kind of 'player character murder count' without being a player character, I think xD;

Sally would so appreciate some company that would not bat an eye at her EXTREMELY NESSISARY murder count, okay. You can't just leave people alive when they are trying to kill you. That's bad form.

Totally understand the shyness you're in good company so never worry! And yes you are recalling correctly! He lives in the morally grey, he really doesn't have much of a conscience or morals of his own, that all got stripped away thanks to his messed up childhood; he just tries to follow and mimic the actions of people who are good, the best he can. But this means he has no real judgment for people who are morally flexible and would not bat an eye at her murder count. You gotta take people out before they take you (or yours) out, after all.

YOU KNOW I do have another muse quite like that XD I have a book!verse Dexter Morgan as well ;D At least Amos has very good role models? Sally is not a very good role model at all, mind you xD

See that's very logical! Sally -usually- only murders people who are trying to murder her fist, but when that happens on the day to day, well. It has some effects on one's character.

I am going to try and construct something for the mingle post! We should throw them together in there somehow ^^

Oh yeah, definitely some overlap there with Dexter! That's all good, though, Sally, you just do you! Live your best 'survival first' life. :fistbump: and all that!

TBH Amos seems like better people than Dexter, don't ask me about the math it's just a vibe LOL And YUP she's gotta do it for Gwen! No though... maybe for spite? LOL

So I totally fell off the planet with health issues >_<;;; but I still wanna do a thing. We shall figure out a thing to do. Hitting back stuff in my inbox and then I might go lurk the mingle if it's not too late, get my head back in the game >>;;

I did in fact manage to whip up a top level at the mingle, here if anything so happens to catch your fancy ^^ Wildcard options are also welcome if none of the starters get your attention.
