Welcome!

It's time to introduce yourselves! Use the form below to get out there and start plotting. New and old players alike are encouraged to post to the Intro & CR.

A mingle log will be posted on June 8.
While we won't be doing intro/mingle logs every application round, we'll have one for the first two rounds (June and August) to help everyone get settled! You can also check out the Bulletin for information on weather, broadcasts, and incidents.

Notes

• Characters can arrive in-game on any date throughout the month of the TDM. This means characters do not have to, and typically will not, arrive all at once. Arrivals will be scattered and more difficult to predict. Use this to stagger CR, give characters a couple weeks without seeing each other, or whatever you feel makes it interesting!
• Since base AC is low, players need to make AC for their first month. TDM threads continued into the month are perfectly acceptable as long as the comments submitted take place in the current month.

Updates

• We've made some updates to the Invites page to reflect the game's current player cap status and added a player cap count to the Taken page. Our player cap is formally 70 players. The FAQ has also been updated to reflect these changes.
• A reminder that the 2 characters per round allocation was for the first round only. Moving forward, all players, current and new, can only apply for one character per app round. (You may still have a total of 2 characters.)

About: I groom dogs for a living! I'm also an enthusiast of fountain pens, which I do use to scribble out my tags, and have gotten into boots and vinyl records over the past year.

Name: Arlecchino (The Knave)

About: Morally gray "Father" to an orphanage that doubles as a spy organization. An assassin and diplomat. Her name is Arlecchino, but she goes by her assigned title, The Knave, because she likes the distance. Has a reputation for craziness, but is mostly just violent because life is short. Likes to be misunderstood. Technically part of the bad guy organization but hates half of those guys. Her cursed bloodline grants her strength and bloodfire, but also attempts to murder her when she gets too emotional. Seems mysterious and severe, but actually kind of chill and a good conversationalist, and likes good people. Loves her children a lot, but it's a tough love deal. Just kind of a dad. Likes animals, but especially spiders.

Wanted CR:
• Friends tbh?? She's pretty solitary in canon, children aside
• People who are willing to poke fun at her for being 3edgy5me
• Moral characters to butt up against
• Morally gray characters to compare notes with
• Kids to dad
• Parents/child-raisers to commiserate with
• She'll be interested in making connections with "useful" people
• Really tho I'm happy with anything

Plots/Plans:
Arlecchino does like to take her time and gather information before she commits to things, so nothing solid for now. She'll probably be looking into solid ways to generate income... currently she's just kind of quietly farming (read: murdering) scummy back alley types that no one will miss, but she'll want something more lucrative. She'll also be trying to master motorcycling.

Limits: Nothing at this time!

Hello Boba nice to meet you! I'm really enjoying their TDM thread (despite my slow ass tagging) if you're down to keep it canon! I'm canon blind but going by what you have here think these two could have some interesting CR 👀

Hello!!! I've been loving their TDM thread as well, hehe. I'll be happy to keep it canon! If it's easier for you to handwave, Arlecchino would have tried to shoo Adrian away and meticulously clean up the crime scene without a drop of blood to show for it... not beating the vampire allegations tbh. On the upside, the room would have been nice and tidy for Adrian's neighbor to move back into...

I look forward to seeing how they interact! On Arle's side at least, she will be very casual about saying hello the next time they run across each other

she's super not beating the vampire allegations but it can't be said that she doesn't clean up after herself... he'll be a bit weary but he doesn't think she just murders people for fun (the bar is low) so he will be interested in learning more about her :eyes: he'll say hello in the hallway too (and probably also ask what she did with the bodies) (but don't tell him)

Adrian your standards......... But yeah she doesn't kill JUST for fun. It just happens to be fun sometimes, but that's, like, just a happy coincidence. She will tell him not to worry his sweet little head off about the bodies. 👍
