Welcome!

It's time to introduce yourselves! Use the form below to get out there and start plotting. New and old players alike are encouraged to post to the Intro & CR.

A mingle log will be posted on June 8.
While we won't be doing intro/mingle logs every application round, we'll have one for the first two rounds (June and August) to help everyone get settled! You can also check out the Bulletin for information on weather, broadcasts, and incidents.

Notes

• Characters can arrive in-game on any date throughout the month of the TDM. This means characters do not have to, and typically will not, arrive all at once. Arrivals will be scattered and more difficult to predict. Use this to stagger CR, give characters a couple weeks without seeing each other, or whatever you feel makes it interesting!
• Since base AC is low, players need to make AC for their first month. TDM threads continued into the month are perfectly acceptable as long as the comments submitted take place in the current month.

Updates

• We've made some updates to the Invites page to reflect the game's current player cap status and added a player cap count to the Taken page. Our player cap is formally 70 players. The FAQ has also been updated to reflect these changes.
• A reminder that the 2 characters per round allocation was for the first round only. Moving forward, all players, current and new, can only apply for one character per app round. (You may still have a total of 2 characters.)

Her and Logan never spoke or interacted in the past lmao but he does know her!! And her future self. And...does not really like her, but he gets she's important to Charles.

I'm not entirely sure how a meeting with them would go but!! I can def see them working together if they have to, even if he won't particularly enjoy it. At the end of the day, Logan's current world is pretty entrenched in mutant vs. humans, so she's still one of theirs.

Look, he has every reason, he did not see her at her best, he in fact saw her at the opposite of her best! He saw her at her worst, her naughtiest.

Good news Logan, she has chosen not to become a supervillain, probably! I can definitely see them butting heads at the start and not getting along but being forced to work together, it would be interesting to see him have the opportunity to get to know her the way she once was and tbh she will both be glad that Charles has people with him in the future but also maybe even a teensy bit jealous... rubbing my little raccoon paws together for this!

We love a redemption arc!!! I pulled Logan from a point where he doesn't know if what he did fixed anything and is lowkey unsure if they're all here bc the time meddling broke the world. Even tho he's obv not gonna get any answers to that big question for now, I do think Raven (and possibly Erik??) sort of...visibly trying to be better will breach some of Logan's cynicism about both of their paths. Ultimately, there's a reason Logan's stuck so close by Charles, and deep down, he does want to believe Charles is right to keep hoping.

I also like the idea of Logan learning more Raven as she was! And I love toying with that flash of jealousy 👀 If nothing else, Logan's always understood a little too well where Erik was coming from, and half of his problem is that he sees too much of the uglier parts of himself in people like Erik (angry, vengeful, and a body count too high to tally). So he'll Get Her, too, in some ways.

claps excitedly!! We love an alternate timeline redemption arc! I'm so excited for them both to kind of muddle through what is up with the DoFP timeline in their own ways, too, since the idea that someone actually came back to change things is entirely new to her, she is fresh from getting shot by her ex- and only just learning why she was the key to changing things. That's heavy stuff!

She won't be able to help it, she's glad Charles has people who care for him and a new family, but also, jealous and hella bummed to think that he has a family she's not a part of, even if she walked away... girl is deeply rethinking her choices right now. THIS GONNA BE GOOD, I'm so hype for these two to get to know each other under different circumstances! Headbutting and all, I hope they clash plenty. :>
