Welcome!
It's time to introduce yourselves! Use the form below to get out there and start plotting. New and old players alike are encouraged to post to the Intro & CR.

Notes
- Characters can arrive in-game on any date throughout the month of the TDM. This means characters do not have to, and typically will not, arrive all at once. Arrivals will be scattered and more difficult to predict. Use this to stagger CR, give characters a couple weeks without seeing each other, or whatever you feel makes it interesting!
- Since base AC is low, players need to make AC for their first month. TDM threads continued into the month are perfectly acceptable as long as the comments submitted take place in the current month.
- We've made some updates to the Invites page to reflect the game's current player cap status and added a player cap count to the Taken page. Our player cap is formally 70 players. The FAQ has also been updated to reflect these changes.
- A reminder that the 2 characters per round allocation was for the first round only. Moving forward, all players, current and new, can only apply for one character per app round. (You may still have a total of 2 characters.)

About: I work in cultural heritage, which means I have weird days like having to move half of a dummy's torso across the street. I also have a cat and a garden that is just hitting strawberry season

About: Alucard is a dhampir, the son of Dracula (the vampire half) and Lisa (the human half.) In the 1470s, Lisa was executed as a witch and Dracula tried to wreck all of Wallachia in response. Alucard stood up to his father, committed patricide to protect the country, and then life happened. Three hundred years on, Alucard is still broadly a defender of humanity, but he has taken time off from his association with the Belmont family. During the events of Castlevania: Nocturne, he helps to defeat vampires using the counter-French revolution in order to cause perpetual night and devour humanity. He's slowly dipping a toe back into having more frequent human connections!
Wanted CR:
- Fellow non-humans, as he enjoys exploring what it means to be not quite human in a human world
- Petty bitchiness, which is his favorite thing in the world
- Those who can catch him up a bit with technology (also someone teach this late 1700s motherfucker to drive)
Plots/Plans:
- Al has mostly been trying to make sense of his surroundings at the moment, catching up with technology and so on.
- He is DEEPLY skeptical of the debt system, and he'd like to air his concerns with others about this
- Overall, Al is mostly interested in exploring at the moment. He's aloof but convivial enough.

I actually haven't seen much of the Castlevania show, but I love me some Metroidvania and could jam to the music for my entire life – ANYWAY, may I present a slightly worse version of Dr. Strange who has made some Horrible Universe-Ruining Decisions but is currently trying to better, perhaps he and Alucard could connect on what it means to be human and also tastes in high-collared outerwear
