Welcome!

It's time to introduce yourselves! Use the form below to get out there and start plotting. New and old players alike are encouraged to post to the Intro & CR.

A mingle log will be posted on June 8.
While we won't be doing intro/mingle logs every application round, we'll have one for the first two rounds (June and August) to help everyone get settled! You can also check out the Bulletin for information on weather, broadcasts, and incidents.

Notes

• Characters can arrive in-game on any date throughout the month of the TDM. This means characters do not have to, and typically will not, arrive all at once. Arrivals will be scattered and more difficult to predict. Use this to stagger CR, give characters a couple weeks without seeing each other, or whatever you feel makes it interesting!
• Since base AC is low, players need to make AC for their first month. TDM threads continued into the month are perfectly acceptable as long as the comments submitted take place in the current month.

Updates

• We've made some updates to the Invites page to reflect the game's current player cap status and added a player cap count to the Taken page. Our player cap is formally 70 players. The FAQ has also been updated to reflect these changes.
• A reminder that the 2 characters per round allocation was for the first round only. Moving forward, all players, current and new, can only apply for one character per app round. (You may still have a total of 2 characters.)

Hey there Kat! I'm Kris, with Amos Burton here from The Expanse. Samus sounds super interesting! Amos is a mechanic out in space, has a wonky moral compass and is comfortable with violence when he needs to use it. But he's very loyal to and protective of people he connects with, or vulnerable people and kids, etc. Checking boxes for booze buddies, morally gray, taciturn — in a nutshell I'd enjoy tossing them at each other and seeing how their CR might shake out!

no worries at all! i'm in for handwaving the tdm thread and them meeting up at the mingle, if that works? i was thinking sunday would probably have introduced himself at some point (me realizing i forgot to have him introduce himself in most of his threads oops) and then potentially left the conversation with slightly less suspicion. possibly. no promises on whether sunday actually made himself less suspicious at any point WHOOPS

i'll keep an eye out for something on the mingle for them! i'm not sure if i'm going to top level yet but if not, i'm always glad to set up a closed starter too!
