Welcome!

It's time to introduce yourselves! Use the form below to get out there and start plotting. New and old players alike are encouraged to post to the Intro & CR.

A mingle log will be posted on June 8.
While we won't be doing intro/mingle logs every application round, we'll have one for the first two rounds (June and August) to help everyone get settled! You can also check out the Bulletin for information on weather, broadcasts, and incidents.

Notes

• Characters can arrive in-game on any date throughout the month of the TDM. This means characters do not have to, and typically will not, arrive all at once. Arrivals will be scattered and more difficult to predict. Use this to stagger CR, give characters a couple weeks without seeing each other, or whatever you feel makes it interesting!
• Since base AC is low, players need to make AC for their first month. TDM threads continued into the month are perfectly acceptable as long as the comments submitted take place in the current month.

Updates

• We've made some updates to the Invites page to reflect the game's current player cap status and added a player cap count to the Taken page. Our player cap is formally 70 players. The FAQ has also been updated to reflect these changes.
• A reminder that the 2 characters per round allocation was for the first round only. Moving forward, all players, current and new, can only apply for one character per app round. (You may still have a total of 2 characters.)

Hi I'm Dee, Emet-Selch is my favorite FF14 character so I'm super hyped to see him in game. I have two characters, Jack here is from Supernatural and he's a celestial being who is only 3 years old, but probably gives off MEGA intense soul light (I'll respond to your permissions). He's young and naive and would look up to someone like Emet-Selch ... whether that's good or bad.

I also have Charles Xavier from X-Men Movies who is a telepath and his neck will for sure crick thanks to how tall Emet-Selch is, but they might have interesting philosophy conversations lol.

hi laura!! while my familiarity with moon knight is from the mcu tv show and [coughs] marvel rivals (the moon... it haunts me), i am really excited to see marc here. i was reading some of your threads on the tdm and really enjoying them.

i'm court and i play fern, who is an original character from a d&d campaign. but one that is full of horrors, because curse of strahd is like that. anyway, she and adrian know each other -- i think he and marc met on the tdm?

i think it'd be funny for fern to spot the crescent moon sprays around and be baffled by them and then meet marc and just be like wait... that was you... what is that even about, dude. that's all i've got for now, lmfao, but i will say she also fits the "strong-willed and will push back" thing that you mentioned!

Absolutely I would love to keep it canon! He lives with Logan now so she can worry less about someone shanking him, but she can hang regardless. :D

I did not get a chance to bother jayce on the tdm but I want to bother this man. I am also looking very intensely at this transmutation business because GOSH that sounds familiar and gosh there was one mushroom that was the key to keeping things from fusing together in An Zhe's neck of the woods. VERY INTERESTING.

Hi this is Dee! I LOVE Usopp so much. I think he and Jack here will have a lot in common as they're both enthusiastic youngsters. Jack does not have a flair for the dramatic but he will listen to Usopp's tales with great sincerity and amazement.

I can offer up Nashua for this! Maybe at some point early in their CR they go to a house party that goes comedically terribly, like some early 2000s movie directed by Judd Apatow

I definitely want to hit her up with Kimiko too; she may also pretend to be non-powered for maximum adorableness.

So, I have no idea how a late 1700s fella and Jack might get on, but I think that it could be interesting to at least have that historical element going. I am also very biased, as Jack is one of my very favorite characters in Black Sails.
