Welcome to our first EMP! If you're unsure of who to app, are deciding between characters, or simply want to see who's bringing who, you can participate below. It is not a reserve. Reserves will open May 28.

The EMP is open to all. You don't need an invite to post to it. If you're curious about the game and are looking to see if you click, you can start here.

• If considering multiple characters, post each one individually under a top-level comment with your PLAYER NAME in the subject line.
• The TDM is scheduled for May 15. It will be open to all. No invite required to participate.
• Invite requests will open with the TDM on May 15. You're welcome to submit earlier but we will not be answering them until after the TDM opens.
• The TDM will have a section where you can express interest in receiving an invite if you don't know anyone in the game. Requests are public but replies to requests will be private.
• For the first round only, all invited players can app up to 2 characters provided they are not from the same franchise or canon. Playing from the same franchise/canon is allowed, but you can't apply for both in a single round. See the FAQ for more.

In the future, we'll also have a separate ATP form. Since the game is brand new, however, you'll find a small ATP section in the EMP form instead where you can ask for castmates alongside your EMP post!

Name: Eddie Munson
Canon: Stranger Things
About: Anxiety-ridden 1980s metalhead with a heart of gold and a penchant for dungeons and dragons. A supernerd who supposedly looks scary on the outside but I've yet to see any real proof of that. His love for music is so intense it's scary and he has a major soft spot for the black sheep and losers of the world.

Plans/Ideas: Listen, I just want him to get an airbrushed wizard on whatever shitty van he ends up driving...like a couple of you, I'm also a more vibes-based rper but I do see him being fun in this setting. And to be totally honest, I'm a one trick pony and only currently play this guy so I'm planning on apping him either way and don't actually need to be enabled. I just didn't want to be left out...

Any characters you want to see in the game? Fellow stragthings...I also want to laugh about old timey characters having no idea how a car works so if you would kindly bring your GoTs/asoiafs...

i didn't really get the chance to grab eddie as much as i wanted in our previous game, and i feel like eddie meeting the wolverine could have Potential. if nothing else, logan is old and (sort of) remembers some of the 80s. and has a soft spot for outcasts.

Hi it's Dee, I have Xavier who is the X-Men Daddy and a powerful telepath, but I also have Jack here who is closer to Eddie's age and he's a very innocent and sweet young person who has never had a real friend, especially not in his general age bracket, so he'll definitely be following Eddie around with puppy dog eyes, he'll think he's SO cool.

i love jack okay and i'd require cr with him regardless of if they'd get along or not, but i'd argue they would! prepare to be...not necessarily adopted, but taken under his wing, i guess? idk HE'LL BE YOUR FRIEND.

here's an old timey one with no idea how a car works, but also she's a d&d character so it might be kind of funny if his knowledge of the game system came up somehow LMAO. fern will have no idea what he's on about but it would make me laugh

technically he's only supposed to know first edition but the show kind of forgot about that so he kind of knows this weird amalgamation f the game system but it should come up. IT WOULD BE FUNNY.

Okay I did not put Hopper on my EMP because I already had 4 characters listed but with you and the other ST characters being listed I am considering him! I'll probably toss him on the TDM and see how it goes.

OH, PERFECT. eddie is great with loser teens, especially the ones who like d&d. he has a little less experience with the ones who might be incarnations of eldrich horrors, but you know, there's a first time for everything. i look forward to seeing them on the tdm!
