Welcome to our first EMP! If you're unsure of who to app, are deciding between characters, or simply want to see who's bringing who, you can participate below. It is not a reserve. Reserves will open May 28.

The EMP is open to all. You don't need an invite to post to it. If you're curious about the game and are looking to see if you click, you can start here.

• If considering multiple characters, post each one individually under a top-level comment with your PLAYER NAME in the subject line.
• The TDM is scheduled for May 15. It will be open to all. No invite required to participate.
• Invite requests will open with the TDM on May 15. You're welcome to submit earlier but we will not be answering them until after the TDM opens.
• The TDM will have a section where you can express interest in receiving an invite if you don't know anyone in the game. Requests are public but replies to requests will be private.
• For the first round only, all invited players can app up to 2 characters provided they are not from the same franchise or canon. Playing from the same franchise/canon is allowed, but you can't apply for both in a single round. See the FAQ for more.

In the future, we'll also have a separate ATP form. Since the game is brand new, however, you'll find a small ATP section in the EMP form instead where you can ask for castmates alongside your EMP post!

Hey hey! Full disclosure my plans are pretty light rn bc I hadn't intended to app until next round. I'm currently reaching the end of my s1 rewatch - if the spot is open and I get him in it'll probably be Daredevil: Born Again, so he will be in quite a bit of shock/relief to see Foggy no longer dead. I know Matt has historically been a... very bad friend to put it lightly, until post-S3. I'm cool with whatever canon point you'd take Foggy from though, or even a comics version if that strikes your fancy!

Either way, he's going to end up needing to lean on his CR for the long roadtrips, plenty of time for long (possibly awkward) chats. As for integrating Matt into the setting, I need to think on that some more - there's a distinct lack of LAW in this place so continuing anything with that might be a dead end, which might swing him back toward his vigilante roots depending. He will obviously want to look out for Foggy and Karen out here in the wild wild west whether they want him to or not

DD:BA Spoilers

Just adding this warning here in case someone reads past...

I'd originally intended to take Foggy from DD:BA, either post-shooting or just before (I understand the futility of this statement, I really do, but here we are). Post most primarily because I enjoy the recovery aspects, but I can understand why that wouldn't be something everyone is wanting or expecting with their RP, so I've kept the option open. My icons are season 3, so that's typically what I default to for memes and such, but it's not off the table here. Certainly the era I'm most familiar with playing.

Comics version lives in my heart forever. He's apt to be more aloof by comparison, but it wouldn't stop him from admitting that he cares no matter the universe (or how angry he is at Matt).

RE: Law - I did read there's some enforcement, so maybe they could find room in there for themselves if anyone misuses the stuff that is in place (which seems to be punishment for very heavy crimes and little else).

I'd be super down if you wanted to take him from his last scenes in dd:ba! I'm cool with playing out his physical recovery, I like that sort of thing too - my only big hard no in RP is very specific to playing out long term realistic alcohol/substance abuse recovery arcs (I can work around it if it's unavoidable, I just don't enjoy writing it out).

Otherwise, I'm happy to help facilitate whatever arcs you're hoping for with Foggy! I'm pretty chill and don't wanna overplan yet on my end since I won't be apping him this round and things could change. I try to keep my discord list small rn bc otherwise I get distracted (I'm one of those people that has to answer every message that pings on my phone immediately...) but once it gets to the next round we can set something up!
