Welcome to our first EMP! If you're unsure of who to app, are deciding between characters, or simply want to see who's bringing who, you can participate below. It is not a reserve. Reserves will open May 28.

The EMP is open to all. You don't need an invite to post to it. If you're curious about the game and are looking to see if you click, you can start here.

• If considering multiple characters, post each one individually under a top-level comment with your PLAYER NAME in the subject line.
• The TDM is scheduled for May 15. It will be open to all. No invite required to participate.
• Invite requests will open with the TDM on May 15. You're welcome to submit earlier but we will not be answering them until after the TDM opens.
• The TDM will have a section where you can express interest in receiving an invite if you don't know anyone in the game. Requests are public but replies to requests will be private.
• For the first round only, all invited players can app up to 2 characters provided they are not from the same franchise or canon. Playing from the same franchise/canon is allowed, but you can't apply for both in a single round. See the FAQ for more.

In the future, we'll also have a separate ATP form. Since the game is brand new, however, you'll find a small ATP section in the EMP form instead where you can ask for castmates alongside your EMP post!

Name: Jayce Talis

About: High INT low WIS man of progress, wanted to democratize magic for the people, things went badly. He's going to be from post-S2, so very very far into the FIND OUT of his FUCK AROUND period. Jayce is generally a good guy who has regrets about the harm he's (mostly) inadvertently caused. Legit aged like 10 years in the past couple of months, it's been rough. He's likely permanently disabled from an injury to his left leg and requires a brace on it to walk.
Plans/Ideas: He is pretty much primed and ready for multiverse shenanigans. Will eventually want to dig into SCIENCE again but might take it a little slow all things considered, we'll see. He is pretty burnt out from the events of Arcane S2 (and honestly S1 too), and will be arriving with an 8ft tall eldritch creature - please be entertained by the Herald's head sticking out of the sunroof of whatever car they use.

I'm commenting to both of your characters deal with it. Xavier is actually a passionate scientist and tech fan himself, albeit in the 70s time period. also maybe some day he could help make him a better wheelchair because his fancy one was crushed.

KIRA HERE this is a guy i'm considering as my second, so lmao— but should i get him in, i think he and jayce would be friends because of SCIENCE. but this could be for a future consideration!!

wanda's idea of 'magic' will be slightly different, but she would definitely put her powers at his disposal should they level up on their cr. :') always here for weird magicscience shenanigans. and i'd love cr with matt too when/if you bring him in!! more marvels....

jay it's arboria!! i am holding my hands out for cr as i have a guy here who wanted to do good but Things Went Very Poorly (because his plan was bad, actually) so if they ever talked about it... it could be quite good

also he is not a science guy but IS a guy who wants to learn everything, so if jayce gets up to projects he'd love to Observe! he's from a world with a lot of tech so they could chat about that, too

hi jay!!! i'm also jay, we briefly met on whit's plurk when i asked a bunch of questions about arcane — i'm excited to properly get to play with your jayce! i have not made myself any more familiar with arcane s2 but i think at this point i'd prefer to find out what the hell happened here(tm) via you two LMAO.
