Welcome to our first EMP! If you're unsure of who to app, are deciding between characters, or simply want to see who's bringing who, you can participate below. It is not a reserve. Reserves will open May 28.

The EMP is open to all. You don't need an invite to post to it. If you're curious about the game and are looking to see if you click, you can start here.

• If considering multiple characters, post each one individually under a top-level comment with your PLAYER NAME in the subject line.
• The TDM is scheduled for May 15. It will be open to all. No invite required to participate.
• Invite requests will open with the TDM on May 15. You're welcome to submit earlier but we will not be answering them until after the TDM opens.
• The TDM will have a section where you can express interest in receiving an invite if you don't know anyone in the game. Requests are public but replies to requests will be private.
• For the first round only, all invited players can app up to 2 characters provided they are not from the same franchise or canon. Playing from the same franchise/canon is allowed, but you can't apply for both in a single round. See the FAQ for more.

In the future, we'll also have a separate ATP form. Since the game is brand new, however, you'll find a small ATP section in the EMP form instead where you can ask for castmates alongside your EMP post!

Name: Trafalgar D. Water Law
Canon: One Piece
About: Survivor of a genocide, Law decided to join a gang of pirates at the age of 10 to get revenge on the world. This did not happen, so instead he became a pirate himself and went on a 13 year quest for revenge (with some help, he succeeded here). He’s a skilled surgeon, and has unique abilities thanks to the Devil Fruit he was forced to eat as a child (to be fair it was to save his life), and is a master at making plans (and watching them go up in smoke thanks to Someone). He’s tactical, mostly level headed, a little reckless, and a formidable in a fight. He also dislikes bread, which is honestly a choice.

Plans/Ideas: I’m vibing with the premise. Law has no qualms about getting into a scrap over resources considering, so he is down for the exploration aspect to obtain them. He would also want to solve a few mysteries and honestly considering the series he’s from, some horror elements would really kick up his survival drive. The inability to plan would drive him up the wall but would force him to adapt.

Any characters you want to see in the game? for me personally? Bepo. Honestly? Anyone. I’d be happy with just about anyone from the series.

He’s amazing interesting character! I am glad I made him sound interesting lol. I’m notoriously bad with “about” sections that aren’t in an app.

Name: Elcin
Canon: Original Character
About: Also a skilled surgeon, Elcin is an alien space drider who makes it a point to help those in need. He started as a trauma surgeon, then moved into pharmaceutical development. He’s main goal is to make health care affordable as well accessible, and volunteers at a low income clinic on the side. That’s not to say he isn’t without his faults. He’s short tempered at times, over worked (his own fault) and has his vices.

Plans/Ideas:, Unlike Law, Elcin is not as willing to bargain or steal. He does things above board and would rather give the shirt off his back than manipulate. However, he is also not above asking for favors if it means he can get things done. He’d hoard medical supplies and is willing to go out explore, and learn. He’s a home body typically but with a debt looming over him he’ll try and get out from under that if he can.

Any characters you want to see in the game? just excited for the opportunity to play in general!

I mean let’s be honest: who wouldn’t lose their minds seeing a drider? Only difference is that he’s born this way and not cursed (or blessed) by Lloth.

even better, he's au naturale. henry has a HUGE obsession/love of spiders, so please expect him to ask him all the weird questions about driders in general if you app.. i'm sorry ahead of time
