Welcome to our first EMP! If you're unsure of who to app, are deciding between characters, or simply want to see who's bringing who, you can participate below. It is not a reserve. Reserves will open May 28.

The EMP is open to all. You don't need an invite to post to it. If you're curious about the game and are looking to see if you click, you can start here.

• If considering multiple characters, post each one individually under a top-level comment with your PLAYER NAME in the subject line.
• The TDM is scheduled for May 15. It will be open to all. No invite required to participate.
• Invite requests will open with the TDM on May 15. You're welcome to submit earlier but we will not be answering them until after the TDM opens.
• The TDM will have a section where you can express interest in receiving an invite if you don't know anyone in the game. Requests are public but replies to requests will be private.
• For the first round only, all invited players can app up to 2 characters provided they are not from the same franchise or canon. Playing from the same franchise/canon is allowed, but you can't apply for both in a single round. See the FAQ for more.

In the future, we'll also have a separate ATP form. Since the game is brand new, however, you'll find a small ATP section in the EMP form instead where you can ask for castmates alongside your EMP post!

About: Former headmaster of a school for monster hunters, full-time immortal with a really inconvenient way of reincarnating. Ozpin is like any typical mysterious and powerful mentor figure that's never as much help as it seems like he should be, only the audience actually gets to see why he's like that. Turns out the answer is that he's depressed, exhausted, overly cautious, still reeling from a violent divorce 2000+ years ago, and way too passive. Overall he's a well-meaning guy that's running himself ragged trying to keep the world turning, but he's still a manipulative lair.

He's also just kind of a weirdo who's way too amused by his own antics. Mind you, said antics include giving children swords that are also guns, embarrassing his successor, launching his students off a cliff on their first day at school, and drinking hot cocoa out of a fancy teapot.

Plans/Ideas: As mentioned Ozpin is a little too passive for his own good, and will likely be arriving without any of the critical canon CR that's been helping him improve as of late. Once he gets settled he'll pretty quickly pivot towards teaching people how to survive the Fringes! OOCly, I will be looking for any excuse to force him to investigate the lore of the world.

Any characters you want to see in the game? Other RWBYs, of course! Also this is not a castmate, but if anyone brings Qifrey from Witch Hat Atelier I think he and Ozpin should interact.

Hello I don't know the canon but Xavier here is also a headmaster of a school, for mutants instead of monster hunters, but they can vibe with that responsible side maybe!

Charles!! RWBY kids gets their own special superpowers, too, so Ozpin's school is also a little Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters.

Basically, I agree! I think they could have some very interesting CR, especially with Charlies being from a Days of Future Past canon point

I did laugh at you mentioning him throwing a kid off a cliff because that's what Erik did to one of Charles's students lol. it was meant to teach him!

Oz is with Erik on this one. There's only one way to practice for bad guys trying to throw you off buildings and what not!

I don't know RWBY at all but man, a weirdo teacher who bullies his students in ridiculous ways but is basically responsible for keeping the world turning, and he's got white hair and sunglasses?

Fushiguro is screaming internally that even in alternate realities, Gojo is fucking haunting him like a bad odor.

I've actually got a friend trying to enable me into watching JJK for exactly this reason. Obviously Oz and Megumi will have some fun interactions. Especially since he seems like the sort of guy Oz can't help but be fond of!
