Welcome to our first EMP! If you're unsure of who to app, are deciding between characters, or simply want to see who's bringing who, you can participate below. It is not a reserve. Reserves will open May 28.

- If considering multiple characters, post each one individually under a top-level comment with your PLAYER NAME in the subject line.
- The TDM is scheduled for May 15. It will be open to all. No invite required to participate.
- Invite requests will open with the TDM on May 15. You're welcome to submit earlier but we will not be answering them until after the TDM opens.
- The TDM will have a section where you can express interest in receiving an invite if you don't know anyone in the game. Requests are public but replies to requests will be private.
- For the first round only, all invited players can app up to 2 characters provided they are not from the same franchise or canon. Playing from the same franchise/canon is allowed, but you can't apply for both in a single round. See the FAQ for more.
In the future, we'll also have a separate ATP form. Since the game is brand new, however, you'll find a small ATP section in the EMP form instead where you can ask for castmates alongside your EMP post!

About: ( 1 ) Sad Space Man, reporting for duty. Cassian is Just A Guy that often finds himself in the middle of Situations. He's a quiet, reserved guy who can be a bit of an asshole depending on the situation and the people he's interacting with. He's a man of conviction who has been hardened by the atrocities that imperialism has wrought on the galaxy and those closest to him. But somehow, at the end of the day, none of that has been enough to kill all of the heart and hope in him. He'll risk himself time and time again even if it's at detriment to himself if it means protecting those that he loves and finds a way to build community even in places where it might not make sense to have one.
Canon point is TBD. Maybe he'll be a thief, maybe he'll be a soldier or a captain or maybe he'll be dust. If I do take him from the S2 of Andor, he probably won't be showing up until later this year.
Plans/Ideas:
— Regardless of canon point, Cass will be furiously finding ways to pay off his debt and get home. With the exception of no immediate war to fight here, being in debt honestly isn't that new for him.
— Maybe he could flex his cool espionage skills?
— Can he befriend yet another
droidMedbot? I'd like to find out.— Chaos. Situations. I want this man confused, exhausted and upset about his life. Again.
Generally though, my hope for Cassian is that he will find a found family here, one that he can protect, who will protect him in turn, and to be reminded that life can be more than just war and running.
Any characters you want to see in the game? Are droids appable, mods? Probably not. But any and all Star Wars characters would be neat.

Anyway, I get the Strong Impression these two could relate. I don't know which version of Foggy I want to bring yet, but I suspect both versions would find Cassian worthwhile for his ethics, morals, and overall doneness with [insert pretty much anything].

robin / honkai: star rail
Character
Name: Robin
Canon: Honkai: Star Rail
About: Cosmic superstar, the Galaxy's darling and former(?) caged bird of the Family. Like Cher, Robin goes by her first name.
Robin is a Halovian (read: alien) cosmic popstar that hails from Penacony, the Planet of Festivities. Alongside her brother, Sunday, they had a shared dream of making the world a better place though both of them went about reaching that dream in very different ways (ie. Sunday had the era's biggest crash out which results in Robin cutting a deal with Capitalists R Us and the Devil Wearing Prada to get him out). She's incredibly soft spoken, has a hugely compassionate heart but has been known to be incredibly shrewd when pressed. Though she's never wanted in life, she has been sheltered to some degree and has a zest for life and exploration as a result of that. I think, despite having debt for the first time in her life and barring any potential cosmic horrors 🙂, she'll adjust swimmingly.
Plans/Ideas:
— I'll be taking her post 2.7 right after she says her goodbyes to her brother and the Astral Express crew. Not much is known about what she gets up to after we last see her, but I assume it's taking a short hiatus from her popstar schedule and trying fill the shoes that her brother has left.
— Halovains, being the delightful aliens they are, come with mind reading/telepathy abilities that allow them to do what it says on the tin, but also do some mild "tuning" on people's emotions. She also use her connection with the Harmony to "resonate" through her music with her fans and all manner of lifeforms alike. Robin tends not to misuse these powers unless the situation calls for it, but similar to Arboria, she will have an opt-out blanket opt-in post!
— Exploring a whole new world! It's unlikely she'll be recognized here so true anonymity will be such a novelty to her. So much of what we saw in HSR is this rather polished, very reserved, young woman and I'd love to see what being here will mean for her. Someone encourage her to do silly things! She can be a goofball if the given the opportunity and I think she deserves as much.
Any characters you want to see in the game? Anyone from the Penacony arc would be lovely but any HSR characters would be fun for her to interact with because they probably know her as her public persona.
