Welcome!

It's time to introduce yourselves! Use the form below to get out there and start plotting. New and old players alike are encouraged to post to the Intro & CR.

A mingle log will be posted on June 8.
While we won't be doing intro/mingle logs every application round, we'll have one for the first two rounds (June and August) to help everyone get settled! You can also check out the Bulletin for information on weather, broadcasts, and incidents.

Notes

• Characters can arrive in-game on any date throughout the month of the TDM. This means characters do not have to, and typically will not, arrive all at once. Arrivals will be scattered and more difficult to predict. Use this to stagger CR, give characters a couple weeks without seeing each other, or whatever you feel makes it interesting!
• Since base AC is low, players need to make AC for their first month. TDM threads continued into the month are perfectly acceptable as long as the comments submitted take place in the current month.

Updates

• We've made some updates to the Invites page to reflect the game's current player cap status and added a player cap count to the Taken page. Our player cap is formally 70 players. The FAQ has also been updated to reflect these changes.
• A reminder that the 2 characters per round allocation was for the first round only. Moving forward, all players, current and new, can only apply for one character per app round. (You may still have a total of 2 characters.)

Sorry about Rebecca Romijn, Scott, she is beautiful and exquisite but also peak mutant terrorist!! I love that he will be Not Fine though, poor Charles out here just like "please she is just misunderstood, please, she has not even murdered anyone yet, PLEASE." The struggle is gonna be SO REAL.

Agreed! She's usually explaining her stance to people who already know what the Cure is or people who are from other universes and have no skin in the game. And definitely never when she's this far into the timeline which should... be a trip lol

Same, I'm looking forward to tossing them together! And eager to see how their vibes play out because I do think that's going to be a fascinating contrast between their approaches, the head vs. the heart so to speak.

Excited to see how things go, and totally agree they should tinker together! Would be a great entry point to kick things off, and he'd enjoy learning more about motorcycles here. :3 I'll probably aim to do a catch-all log soon, or keep an eye out if you post anything up for Logan!

hi laura!! eliot is.... kind of a vigilante???? he and his crack(pot) team definitely do illegal things to deliver justice. kind of. they just don't dress up in spandex. uh. generally speaking that is.

eliot is also an ex mercenary(/black ops/hitman/retrieval specialist) turned good(ish) who speaks the language of violence very well and doesn't think he deserves good things. i think these two will either be best friends or hate each other with the power of several burning stars.

That's totally fair! It happens ^^ TO BE FAIR it's entirely up to the player how murder-y you want to make your character in her game, since there are options for fetal/non-fetal ways to take down enemies. I lean into the murder because she has fun/sarcastic/mean comments when you kill a bunch of dudes. "See, Gwen? That's how you land a man." *surrounded by bodies* LOL~

Yay!!! I only know Rowena a little through peripherally observing Supernatural many years ago, so we shall both discover things via rp!

Sally's not even sure it's real 'magic' that she was blessed with (she had to chuck some bricks in a chest and say a prayer) so she will be quite surprised that there's anything to sense at all. It just makes her stronger, but by the end her chapter you can have her carrying roughly 200 pounds and she does not even weigh 200 pounds, so I'm always like 'gurl you sure that's not magic???'
