Welcome!

It's time to introduce yourselves! Use the form below to get out there and start plotting. New and old players alike are encouraged to post to the Intro & CR.

A mingle log will be posted on June 8.
While we won't be doing intro/mingle logs every application round, we'll have one for the first two rounds (June and August) to help everyone get settled! You can also check out the Bulletin for information on weather, broadcasts, and incidents.

Notes

• Characters can arrive in-game on any date throughout the month of the TDM. This means characters do not have to, and typically will not, arrive all at once. Arrivals will be scattered and more difficult to predict. Use this to stagger CR, give characters a couple weeks without seeing each other, or whatever you feel makes it interesting!
• Since base AC is low, players need to make AC for their first month. TDM threads continued into the month are perfectly acceptable as long as the comments submitted take place in the current month.

Updates

• We've made some updates to the Invites page to reflect the game's current player cap status and added a player cap count to the Taken page. Our player cap is formally 70 players. The FAQ has also been updated to reflect these changes.
• A reminder that the 2 characters per round allocation was for the first round only. Moving forward, all players, current and new, can only apply for one character per app round. (You may still have a total of 2 characters.)

For your consideration, please perceive Dr. Stephen Strange, M.D., Ph.D., the exact same guy from Avengers Marvel Movie #5 except with Extremely Worse Life Decisions which caused him to fashion himself into a cosmic abomination and destroy his entire universe. (Oops!) Definitely wasn't fueled by existential fear of having to cope with his grief over losing his girlfriend, or any other human vulnerabilities that your guy might be interested in, I'm sure 👀

he would appreciate the opportunity for a project tbh, like the more he can sink into tinkering with every type of vehicle he can get his hands on, the better. on top of that, give him some specs for modifications and he will do his best. he would 100% shoot straight with marc, he's not the type to be like 'I CAN DO THIS AESTHETIC' and just hope for the best lmao but i think overall that'd be a great entry point if there's an opportunity on the mingle log, or down the line!!

About: Constantly exasperated, kinda sad, kinda angry, space man that finds him in Situations on a regular basis. Oh and he's currently fighting a war and is part of a rebellion. And he has no idea that he's dead or who Jyn is because he's coming from early on in S2 of Andor so that'll be fun.

Wanted CR: Any and all! It's the start of the game so the world is our oyster.

- For all his gruff and huff, I do want him to find a found family. Cassian has a bit of a little sister wound and makes an excellent big brother or brother in general.

- Friends...he can operate alone but he really does do better with people around him.

- Mentor(s) because he's still in a bit of a growth arc and still has a lot to learn. Particularly people that have experience with rebellions and war and helping people bring people into the fold.

Plots/Plans: I don't have much by way of concrete plans yet aside from the fact that I'd love for him to get into as many Situations as humanly possible. Do you need a hilarious straight man to your wacky? Sign me up and Cassian up.

- I'd love for him to build a safe space for the locals so ideally anyone who's likeminded in crushing some oppressive gangs would be welcome/people he can work with to build a community. He's not quite Captain Andor yet, but he's good at slowly chipping away at places and environments to carve safe spaces out for those that need it.

- He will be getting into a spot of trouble with a local gang that involves accidental kidnapping 🙂‍↕️ Feel free to help or make it worse. Or come along for the ride.

- I gave him a Tokyo Drift style car with the most unseemly spoiler known to man. So I think a road race would be funny whether it's intentional or not.

- He's also pretty nosey whether or not he wants to admit it or not. I'd love for him to explore the fluxdrift and maybe face a couple of consequences along the way because it's not fun without them.

- He'll likely get a job as a mechanic along with picking up some odd jobs. Need a car fixed? Some parts obtained? Hit your boy up.

Limits: None at the moment! I'm open to any and all things. He can be a bit of a bitch depending on the situation/person so a little light bickering or rivalry or animosity could be fun.

Honestly my greatest joy in picking up Batman characters is that my jersey upbringing gets put to good use. Sits him down look Marc u gotta understand. Gotham is just the worst. It’s evil. The cops are crooked, there is more organized crime than pizza joints. There are gargoyles on so many buildings and for what. Sometimes the air you breathe decides to show you your biggest nightmares bc someone took their psych degree to the worst possible conclusion. Sometimes a killer clown decides he’s gonna make all the water in the pipes super flammable. Why do people live there.

But also he is the only person who understands it and he’s gonna fix it!!!! Don’t talk to him about Batman. (Talk to him about Batman)

I enjoyed their starting thread a lot!! Apologies i fell off the wagon at the end but I'm def up for starting something fresh in-game.

There's lots abt himself Logan dislikes but the mutant part is just something he is and he can become protective of people who are also flagged as Other. So maybe a little self-acceptance progress can happen!! Logan's less abt the "we'll all get along" pep talk tho and it's more like "you are allowed to punch the people who tell you that you should die for being different" but you know. He'll give it a good shot.

I want CR with the boy!! I feel like logan and Sunday on an accidental road trip might be kinda hilarious. He wouldn't take a random along but Sunday can just be like "I'm not following you i was going this direction anyway" and every time Logan turns around, Sunday is there.
