To be honest, my second character slot will probably be between Miss Robin and Saddest Man in Space, Cassian. I think they'd both be fun to play within the context of the game but this will probably be a game time decision.
Character
Name: Robin Canon: Honkai: Star Rail About: Cosmic superstar, the Galaxy's darling and former(?) caged bird of the Family. Like Cher, Robin goes by her first name.
Robin is a Halovian (read: alien) cosmic popstar that hails from Penacony, the Planet of Festivities. Alongside her brother, Sunday, they had a shared dream of making the world a better place though both of them went about reaching that dream in very different ways (ie. Sunday had the era's biggest crash out which results in Robin cutting a deal with Capitalists R Us and the Devil Wearing Prada to get him out). She's incredibly soft spoken, has a hugely compassionate heart but has been known to be incredibly shrewd when pressed. Though she's never wanted in life, she has been sheltered to some degree and has a zest for life and exploration as a result of that. I think, despite having debt for the first time in her life and barring any potential cosmic horrors 🙂, she'll adjust swimmingly.
Plans/Ideas: — I'll be taking her post 2.7 right after she says her goodbyes to her brother and the Astral Express crew. Not much is known about what she gets up to after we last see her, but I assume it's taking a short hiatus from her popstar schedule and trying fill the shoes that her brother has left.
— Halovains, being the delightful aliens they are, come with mind reading/telepathy abilities that allow them to do what it says on the tin, but also do some mild "tuning" on people's emotions. She also use her connection with the Harmony to "resonate" through her music with her fans and all manner of lifeforms alike. Robin tends not to misuse these powers unless the situation calls for it, but similar to Arboria, she will have an opt-out blanket opt-in post!
— Exploring a whole new world! It's unlikely she'll be recognized here so true anonymity will be such a novelty to her. So much of what we saw in HSR is this rather polished, very reserved, young woman and I'd love to see what being here will mean for her. Someone encourage her to do silly things! She can be a goofball if the given the opportunity and I think she deserves as much.
Any characters you want to see in the game? Anyone from the Penacony arc would be lovely but any HSR characters would be fun for her to interact with because they probably know her as her public persona.
