Increase to AC Requirements
As previously announced, we'll be making changes to Activity Check requirements beginning January 2026.

New Activity Check requirements are:

  • Each log thread needs a minimum of 4 comments by you. Previously, this was 2 comments.
  • Each network spam thread needs a minimum of 8 comments by you. Only one network-spam thread is allowed. Previously, this was 4 comments.
  • TDM and inbox threads are allowed but at least one thread must be from one of the game's IC communities (log or network). Previously, you could submit two TDM threads or mix and match TDM and inbox threads.
This works out to be an average pace of 2 log tags per week for each character (or 1 log tag and 2 network-spam tags per week), which we feel the majority of our players will have no trouble meeting. Changes will be reflected on the Activity Check page once January begins. There are no changes to AC Bonus. As always, if you have extenuating circumstances, we encourage you to communicate with us! We are happy to accommodate if you talk to us.

In addition, we continue to expect players to overall be consistent and engaged with the game and its variety of characters, including tagging throughout the month rather than doing the majority at the start/end to have AC before dropping the threads. These items have been a part of our game rules from the start, and we'll keep monitoring individual activity patterns on a case-by-case basis.

2026 Roadmap
We're incredibly grateful to have such an active and engaged player base! We appreciate everyone's patience as we've been working out the kinks of starting a new game and experimenting with different event styles.

While we may adjust as needed based on pacing and plot progression, here's what we have in mind for the upcoming year:

  • Expansion of the map with a new (anchored/permanent) area for characters to explore.
  • Introduction of a new travel system to allow characters to more easily visit Kolliery and Acreage.
  • Building on the Stormkissed bond beyond what's been introduced.
  • Game-wide memory share and/or dream share.
  • Introduction of an IC method to spend the Lucky Coins directly, as players continue to receive bonuses.
  • Third character slot requests will open beginning January (for February's app round)!
As of December 2025, we now have 5 open slots. Therefore, applications will be open to new players in February.

∞ End of Year Survey Form ∞
This game is designed for you. As a result, we'd like to hear your thoughts on what you've been enjoying and what you'd like to see in the future!

If you have the time, please fill out the survey below and reply directly to this post. If you're feeling shy you may submit your survey directly to the Mod Contact page, which is screened by default. Responses on this page will be public so that you can read each other's.

Feel free to repeat suggestions from others that you've seen and agree with. It will help if we know more than one person is thinking the same thing! All questions are optional. If you'd like to only answer one question and skip the rest, that's perfectly fine. Any amount of input is valuable.

What aspects of the game do you enjoy engaging with? The gameplay mechanics are great because they allow for a lot of different variables for characters that are more likely to isolate, and the types not to care or to be more involved. For those that isolate, like Joel, the fact that he has to earn his way (like in his smuggling days of yore) makes him more likely to come by CR when he has to find some spange and the layout of the city and the events do the same.

What themes have you wanted to explore for your character but haven't had the opportunity to yet?

Memory loss and fancy parties because I'm a cliche bitch, and I own that. Beyond those things, the concept of an emp killing the tech for whatever reason, given its status in the world, might be fun later down the line?

Maybe some alien flora that does stupid stuff like truth serum or what have you for the characters that play things too close to the chest.

Is there anything you want to know more about or see more of?
Definitely more mingle style events. Maybe even something with a corrupt network so that those that are unlikely to use it are forced to do so. Also, I'm a sucker for any type of horror truly

What aspects of the game do you enjoy engaging with?
The setting! I love learning more about how Panorama operates and I am excited to learn more about Kolliery and Acreage as they become more accessible. Having specific areas, stores, NPCs, etc make things feel more lived-in and give me better ideas for what my character is doing day-to-day.

What themes have you wanted to explore for your character but haven't had the opportunity to yet?
ok i am always a slut for a fancy party BUT ALSO I like survival scenarios, especially if it involves environmental weirdness (30 Days Of Night-style; yes this is specific to my interests) or natural disasters. Laszlo sucks and will not help people unless it directly impacts him, so having him trapped in a Situation with others will make him actually do things.

Is there anything you want to know more about or see more of?
I'd love to see more psychological/existential horror as well as opportunities for battle-focused characters to really shine.

What aspects of the game do you enjoy engaging with? First off happy holidays, and thanks for a fun game experience so far! I haven't been here that long, but I've really enjoyed the events I've taken part in, and the overall setting in one I really enjoy. Most of all the freedom within the game to get creative with things like diffusion zones, and that personal plots/things we can do with our characters are facilitated rather than stifled. I've been really pleased with the 'yes, you can do that!' attitude here.

What themes have you wanted to explore for your character but haven't had the opportunity to yet? Ooh okay, captivity sounds like a lot of fun now that you've mentioned it, especially if it knocks out character's powers entirely! Big world disasters would be good, also anything that could cause a negative aberration in a character's personality/bring out the absolute worst in themselves-- I know we had heightened emotions, but something more intense even than that, maybe. Like some kind of corrupting cosmic influence that infects characters and strips them of everything but their worst traits or something. Any kind of events that would facilitate deeper investigation into how characters got to the diadem, the nature of the world they're in, etc. And a fancy party wouldn't go amiss for something different, although I'm definitely someone who prefers party-style events are reserved for occasions rather than thrown out every month or two. I've been enjoying the fact that not everything is another party, here.

Is there anything you want to know more about or see more of? So as far as I'm concerned the more horror the better, body horror, more heavily leaning into the cosmic horror (I loved the Midnight Skinner event, so more widespread cosmic horror than that could be fun), honestly any kind of horror. Maybe more events that would lead characters to interact with others they might not usually meet?

Overall I'm enjoying the game a lot already though, and looking forward to seeing what comes up in the new year.

What aspects of the game do you enjoy engaging with? The diffusion zones are a lot of fun. I appreciate being able to customize them during the off months whether I want something serious or stupid.

What themes have you wanted to explore for your character but haven't had the opportunity to yet? Agreeing with others that I'd love some worldwide catastrophe type thing or anything that would force the PCs to work together as a group and interact with folks that they might not normally seek out.

Is there anything you want to know more about or see more of? More opportunities to investigate natural phenomena. More cosmic horror! Maybe some NPC stormchaser fucking around and finding out unleashes something...

What aspects of the game do you enjoy engaging with? Stormkissin', zones are neat to make up whatever you need to make up

What themes have you wanted to explore for your character but haven't had the opportunity to yet? Oh pfft like I've got any plans for Clint beyond Reacting To Whatever's Going On. Something something question the nature of reality though. Anything that might solidify the idea of You're Definitely Never Getting Home. Crush some spirits and make everyone truly reckon with the idea that this is home now, idk. Memloss fucks tho.

Is there anything you want to know more about or see more of? More cosmic dread in my cosmic dread game plz!!! Horror just in general. Fucked up spooky weird shit.

What aspects of the game do you enjoy engaging with? I really love the setting you guys have cooked up! I feel like I never run out of stuff I want to do/get involved with, and there's always some additional interesting thing to poke around in with the events and diffusion zones and bulletin board stuff going on. Information is also laid out pretty nicely so if I need to look something up I can usually find it pretty easily!

What themes have you wanted to explore for your character but haven't had the opportunity to yet? Ngl I love a fancy party every now and again. Captivity, de-powering, big disasters, and learning more about the nature of the world itself all sound fun. I'm really eager to see what's going on with The Sanctum as well, because I think that's something Cid will want to dig into in particular.

Is there anything you want to know more about or see more of? Maybe a page of player-suggested diffusion zones/monsters/random factions/interesting scavenged items/etc? Sometimes it's nice to have a grab bag of Stuff to throw into a thread in between events that's not necessarily something you want to be a real Plot Involvement situation, or alternatively sometimes I have an idea that just doesn't work for my characters so I want to toss it somewhere like a lil shelter dog.

Also seconding what others have suggested re: body horror/cosmic horror/psychological horror!
