Welcome!

It's time to introduce yourselves! Use the form below to get out there and start plotting. New and old players alike are encouraged to post to the Intro & CR.

A mingle log will be posted on June 8.
While we won't be doing intro/mingle logs every application round, we'll have one for the first two rounds (June and August) to help everyone get settled! You can also check out the Bulletin for information on weather, broadcasts, and incidents.

Notes

• Characters can arrive in-game on any date throughout the month of the TDM. This means characters do not have to, and typically will not, arrive all at once. Arrivals will be scattered and more difficult to predict. Use this to stagger CR, give characters a couple weeks without seeing each other, or whatever you feel makes it interesting!
• Since base AC is low, players need to make AC for their first month. TDM threads continued into the month are perfectly acceptable as long as the comments submitted take place in the current month.

Updates

• We've made some updates to the Invites page to reflect the game's current player cap status and added a player cap count to the Taken page. Our player cap is formally 70 players. The FAQ has also been updated to reflect these changes.
• A reminder that the 2 characters per round allocation was for the first round only. Moving forward, all players, current and new, can only apply for one character per app round. (You may still have a total of 2 characters.)

I work at a library so I spend a lot of time around books and when I stumbled across it I WAS HOOKED as a queer series I do recommend it!!

Magical wizard catboy I love it. They should definitely nerd out about magic together!! Rune's magic is MOSTLY chained to sigils which are magical objects he needs to recharge, and he needs to figure out a way to do that here, so he'll 100% appreciate talking shop/logistics with someone, even if they may not entirely understand his magic system

ALSO they keep calling it a dinosaur but I guess it's technically an elasmotherium which means it's a prehistoric rhinocerous. Also its name is Flynn because Corbie (Rune's 5-year-old ward who is/will be familiar bound to it) named it after the neighbor's cat. AS YOU DO.

(and yeah god that ult was... so bad for a bit. i play a bit of everything but i feel you, s2 has been Rough for support coughs blood. although now this current flier meta is AWFUL for tanks... lmfao whatcha gonna do)

it will make... a little more sense once she gets that he's just Like That. she is no stranger to people being dramatic about things after barovia. WHITE CLOTHES..... she will be so baffled about that, they stand out so much!! and omfg, does he want his bike to be white too? incredible.

and oh, those all sound like some good avenues that we can explore for them!! she appreciates anyone else who is good at the sneaky sneak thing because... none of the rest of her d&d party really is, sobs. and look, sometimes a good offense is the best defense? it's Fine. they don't have to befriend so much as realize they have at least a few things in common... and we can see whether or not that draws him together. if she does ever learn about the khonshu thing, she'll at least just shrug at it like "oh, another warlock with a patron." except this one doesn't cast magic??? lmfao.

AND YES, she's a rogue shifter from a curse of strahd campaign! i actually put her as lawful good even though she's an assassin because she still sorta follows the general ~code~ of the harpers and generally when she kills people it's to Better the Realm, so!! yeah.

AGOGE WAS SO GOOD, i'm so sad that it was a fairly short-lived experience even though i totally understand why, what a research-heavy game to try and run.

i'm so glad to come across other ttrpg fans!! and UGH YES, love a good furry/shifter deal. i have always wanted to rp a werewolf but have somehow never really been pinged by a canon one (i think i got close with being human) so i was like... i'll just make one, lmfao. even if she's not a full werewolf, close enough. BUT AHHH that's so cool that you have a werewolf oc, please tell me about him sometime!

i talked about this with martin's player, but martin is to john as fern is to adrian, so chances are that john will end up exhausting her a little with his warlock vibes lmfao. JUST BC YOU CAN INTERACT WITH THE ELDRITCH THING DOESN'T MEAN YOU SHOULD??? i do think they'll work together well, though, despite that!
