Welcome!

It's time to introduce yourselves! Use the form below to get out there and start plotting. New and old players alike are encouraged to post to the Intro & CR.

A mingle log will be posted on June 8.
While we won't be doing intro/mingle logs every application round, we'll have one for the first two rounds (June and August) to help everyone get settled! You can also check out the Bulletin for information on weather, broadcasts, and incidents.

Notes

• Characters can arrive in-game on any date throughout the month of the TDM. This means characters do not have to, and typically will not, arrive all at once. Arrivals will be scattered and more difficult to predict. Use this to stagger CR, give characters a couple weeks without seeing each other, or whatever you feel makes it interesting!
• Since base AC is low, players need to make AC for their first month. TDM threads continued into the month are perfectly acceptable as long as the comments submitted take place in the current month.

Updates

• We've made some updates to the Invites page to reflect the game's current player cap status and added a player cap count to the Taken page. Our player cap is formally 70 players. The FAQ has also been updated to reflect these changes.
• A reminder that the 2 characters per round allocation was for the first round only. Moving forward, all players, current and new, can only apply for one character per app round. (You may still have a total of 2 characters.)

I played jo way back in the day and the cr I had with Benny is some I have held close to my heart even years later. he's SO IMPORTANT.

Nashua will have absolutely no idea what to do with Anne but I love that and I'm so in. Kimiko could definitely use a quiet friend too, especially if there's no pressure to exuberantly socialise. It might be a race to see who can tag whom first!!!

Iiiiiiiiiiiii have never heard of Snotgirl but Eight comes from a world that runs on fashion and that is only barely an exaggeration. Eight himself has pinned several poems based on sneakers he thought were fresh. He's also a people pleaser but he doesn't have it in him to like...be two faced in that way?

I say all that to say: if there's such a thing as fashion rivals, they should be it.

Yess, I've had a lot of fun with them! I'm fully up for Logan being annoyed bc Logan may or may not remind Jesse a little of Mike...possibly.

Either way, he's just a kid to Logan who's over 200 years old so he'll tolerate more from Jesse compared to somebody older. Plus, Logan's been a mess before with his vices so it's a judgment free zone there, too. I can see him being impatiently patient with Jesse, if that makes sense.

This feels like Wrench's entire vibe, so yes. I remain upsettingly canon-blind, but I anticipate this game is going to be motivation to pick up a bunch of new media, and The Expanse has long been on my "intend to watch" list.
