[ The power outage is... unnerving, to say the least. It's an event which has made Sunday realize in an abstract sort of way, the kind which will take him a minute to process later after it's over, it's not something he's dealt with before thanks to technology. And, well, the privileges of the position he'd once held which holds no weight here and wouldn't back on Penacony, either.
Still, as the other motel residents wander outside both in search of light and to socialize, it provides some opportunities to observe everyone else who lives here. Sunday himself has also come outside after locking the door to the room which has nothing much in it besides the furniture it came with. Better to not take a chance given he's also watched plenty of suspicious things in the hallways, which is best avoided.
As he steps out tonight, though, whatever destination he'd had in mind is forgotten when a scream echoes through the area. An echo it is - impossible to tell quite where it came from though it freezes him in mid-step and a hush falls over the front yard of the motel as everyone seems to take it in. That's confirmation enough he didn't imagine it but at the sound of a car door to the side of him Sunday turns his head slightly to look at who's spoken. ]
Did you see who it was?
[ The groups gathered around have started to murmur again as conversations pick up and some of them leave - in a hurry - the moment apparently passed to them, but the noise was too unnerving for Sunday to simply forget even if his expression hasn't changed from something too calm for such an event. ]
