He wishes Hank was here. More than that, he wishes he had the injection that would take away the constant pain in his mind, and at least then he could very comfortably stomp away from this conversation and avoid it. He could wheel away and Erik might even let him, but it lacks the drama. ]

[ He isn't afraid of Erik despite all that, because some part of him will always, always believe that he is safe with him. The words do not reflect the part of his heart that doesn't know how to let go. If there is a way how, he clearly hasn't found it, even in the far off future.
