( Jack doesn't use common terms often but he knows what they are. It feels good to use them casually, like he's a normal human. To be fair, Jack really learned by doing himself. Dean vaguely told him what to do but his main purpose was simply to observe Jack and stop him if he was doing the wrong thing while driving. Otherwise it became instinctive, especially with having observed it for so long. But his new friend hasn't done that yet.)
You get behind the wheel and we'll test drive it around. It'll be okay, we can go really slow.
(That way Gustave can get hand's on experience and not get himself into a car accident right away. The Scrapyard people will probably let them test drive since they don't want everything to be wrecked either. Jack gets out of the driver's side and gestures for them to swap.
He'll help Gustave get used to the car until he feels ready to take it out and maybe drive near him with his motorcycle until it looks like he's settled.)
