Viktor certainly fears himself now, knowing better what kind of destruction his powers almost wrought. It makes him wonder if he could ever use them for good--to heal, without taking someone's mind, or tying their life force to his. Does he even deserve to learn how to untangle his abilities from the influence of the Hexcore? Is the Hexcore even really gone, or just a suppressed part of himself?
