(ooc: sorry for the delay! it's been a trying week. if you'd rather wrap this up quick, or shelf this and jump into something new in the mingle, i'm good either way! )
( what can wanda say, to words that seem an echo of similar things she's heard before? she shrugs, ultimately, because there's nothing pleasant about talking about her dead brother, about how it makes her feel, how ruined life feels like, now. looking down at the blue of the prison uniform that adorn her arms and legs, she can't help but wonder where she went wrongβwhat she could do better.
if any of this matters at all now. )
Our parents were killed when we were kids. ( it seems petty, mechanical almost, how she says this exact phrase about her parents. but pietro and wanda never wanted anyone to forget that they didn't 'lose' their parents, that they were killed, and the twins robbed of them as children. that their streak of rebellion wasn't immature or unwarranted. ) We only ever had each other after that.
( a kind of trauma that bonds two people forever, more so the two of them for being twins. a connection so strong, so solid and stalwart, brought closer still by love and desperation.
wanda keeps her eyes closed tightly, as if trying to fend off tears. a few escape regardless, rolling down her cheeks. )
