Before they set off Cassian buckles himself up settling back into the chair. It's not quite what someone would describe as comfortable or relaxed but at least he doesn't seem on edge or outwardly nervous. He does however, brace himself to some degree. It's out of habit after years of becoming well-acquainted to the punch of a ship's thrusters. These don't nearly have the same power behind them (no where close to in fact) but instinct takes over.

...Except the kid doesn't floor it. In fact, were it not for a long stretch of silence as he glances out the window to confirm that they have, indeed moved, Cassian wouldn't even have been sure that Alphinaud had tapped the gas at all. ]


You can add a little more pressure to the gas, you know.
