Jack is truly terrible at deception and he believes pretty much everything that he hears, so he's always in a bit of a struggle about that. He isn't thinking of a movie but he hopes that he lies better than he thought. Laszlo says right and he doesn't sound very convinced but maybe he is. Jack will hold onto the hope that he didn't make it worse, somehow, with too much random information. He doesn't think his experience in another world necessarily makes this one any easier.

"Jack Kline. It's very nice to meet you, Laszlo." His name really suits him and his fancy look. It sounds like something from a book. "Do you know where the other parts of your fingers are? Maybe they can sew them back on. I hear hospitals can do that."
