Uh huh.

[He doesn’t sound doubtful, he doesn’t sound confused, and he doesn’t sound surprised. He just sounds flatly accepting of these magical means of keeping the lights lit. Between what he just went through back home and ending up here, it’s clear that anything is a possibility and it’s hard to be shocked anymore. ]

Nope. Chances are, the lights are kept lit with electricity which is more…science, I guess? I’m kind of not the guy to ask, but uh…

[ He did fail to graduate twice, and science and tech are not his forte. He glances around, like he’s looking for something, but there’s no way he’s finding it with his shitty human eyes. ]

Usually there’s a panel or a box somewhere on the wall. A breaker might have tripped.

[ He pauses, then considers that that may need an explanation as well:

The flow of electricity got interrupted somehow. It usually happens when there’s too power being used. This hotel probably can't handle so many guests.
