Purgatory. I've heard of it. That's where ... oh. I see.

[ Jack can be oblivious but he isn't stupid. He doesn't think people accidentally go there, or he's never heard of it. Hell is different, some people don't entirely belong there, or they're sent there for one reason or another. Purgatory though, he thinks it's supposed to be a way. Still, that doesn't explain how his father ended up there where he met Benny. If Benny had any concerns about Jack's reaction to his confession, he doesn't outwardly. He's the same as he was before, non-judgmental, but mostly confused right then. ]

I don't know how Dean could be in Purgatory, but I know my fathers end up in many places they shouldn't be.

[ They are God's favorites and he's put them through all kinds of terrible things because of it. Dean told him in the car, before he became a bomb, that he was grateful Jack was willing to die to kill God, so he and Sam could finally be free of him. He only wished it worked. ]

[ Then he really should, and he'd probably apologize about it before doing it. Jack could make it very fast, at least. He wouldn't do what he did to Nick to someone else, not ever again. ]
