[ Jack's been through plenty of shame spirals at this point, but he's really come to accept himself and where he's at recently. It was in preparation for dying, for the final time, that he decided his power was what made him useful, and that meant what he was had a purpose. He's been seeking purpose from early on, and for a long time it was to not be Lucifer, and then it was to be good. He failed at the latter when he was soulless, but his soul is back. His choices are his own.
The fact he is most likely going back to his death is not a burden on him, outside of being concerned that he isn't there to save the Winchesters. Jack's short life has been a painful one, but if he was born so everyone else could live, there is no greater purpose than that. All he can do in this world is try to continue to be that way. ]

Dean can be very black and white about this sometimes, but he has a dear friend who is a werewolf, and the brothers were close with Rowena and even with Amara, the Darkness. It's reassurance that he doesn't need to go back and kill the creature. Maybe it can be spared. ]
Hello Benny. I prefer not to kill things. I'm not a very good hunter that way. I help my fathers of course, what we do is important, I just wish that we didn't have to.
[ If he could not have to kill God, his grandfather, he would choose that. It just needs to be done, there's no other way around it. ]
