[ he takes her phone without any hesitation or reaction, and karen watches as he fumbles around the menu. she doesn't laugh, exactly, but there's a kind of smile as she watches him - she does not offer to help, though, and instead watches him work his way through the menus and finally enter his number. when he hands it back, she sets down her bottle and types for a couple of moments before she pockets her phone.

any worry he might have about asking for her number is now moot, as his phone (if he's got it in his pocket) will vibrate. he won't need to ask. and maybe she doesn't know much about logan, maybe she doesn't know anything about him from their brief conversations and a few jokes, but the truth is, that is enough for her. more than enough. she feels it now, exhaling a bit as she picks back up her bottle of beer, watches as he gets back to work on his bike.

he makes that comment and Karen just kind of settles in to watch him work. she doesn't really want to go back to that dingy apartment, and she can't help but feel vaguely nostalgic about the whole thing - sitting in a parking lot, watching someone work on a motorbike. ]

Why is that? [ she asks, casually. curious, but not digging. ] I mean- besides the obvious. [ she gestures around them, meaning this place. ]
