[ He has no real reason to help her. He could have just kept on driving, maybe that's exactly what he should have done given the circumstances, but something compels him to do it, and he doesn't bother questioning it. He can certainly afford a slight delay to help her get a better handle on her bike. Figuratively and literally both.

She takes off with the bike, and he watches, for a moment wondering if she's going to get far with the way she seems to sway, before she finally manages to take off at a decent speed. It is easier then, like he'd told her, and she's quick to get a good handle at driving in a straight line.

It's when she tries to turn around that her control slips. Erik's not surprised, and he is also prepared. It takes little focus to get the bike to hold at a certain angle, hopefully not so much that it should feel suspicious to her, stopping it from wobbling or her from falling, and allowing her to regain control herself. ]
