[ he doesn't seem offended by the beer, which she'll take as a win. she hasn't been around long enough to have preferences, but she also is getting to a point that if she doesn't know if she can be picky. he mentions stacking crates and nods, because somehow... that makes sense. of the list of jobs she could see logan doing, yeah. he somehow fits perfectly in the blue collar collection of jobs.

karen smiles a little, her eyes turning to the bike. she hasn't really noticed his schedule quite yet, knowing that her own late nights are spent listening to every other movement made outside her door, without any real thought of if she might know the source. still, she does feel like she only sees him at odd hours - heading out when she would assume people would be heading in, making it back in when she's headed out. it hasn't occurred to her that he might be taking midnight hours, or that is even an opportunity, but she'll get there soon enough. ]


They've got me stocking shelves most of my shifts. But hey- if I do well enough maybe I'll get to work the cashier. [ she says it a little like that's impressive, like it might be an inside joke. of course she's thinking back to the cashier from the small shop they stopped at, how bored out of their mind they had been.

she chuckles a little to herself, taking another long sip before exhaling. ]
Pay is pretty terrible, but hey. I managed a six-pack and a phone out of last week's paychecks, so it's not too bad.
