[ jack is right, even if it sounds cruel to say. it doesn't matter if jack's story is the truth. from everything that castiel knows, the most likely arrangement is that they've each been brought from different universes, or timelines, irrespective of whatever similarities may lie between them. he knows that there are people here in this world from all times and places— why should their situation be any different?
but even if he's wrong about all of this, he doesn't know jack.
