"Yeah, it's kind of weird living in a whole new dimension. But..." Nadine shrugs. It's not been as difficult an adjustment as she'd first thought. There's a lot that's familiar.
She sits and watches him take in her rather spartan little room, with it's few touches of personalization. There's nothing she cares about him seeing, she has nothing to hide here.
"My world isn't actually too different than this one. Just without the portals to other dimensions spitting people out randomly."

"There was a big, basically world ending disaster. There's only a couple of hubs left, and not many people. Compared to what there used to be, anyway." There was still enough people for people to keep going. Humanity wasn't wiped out, just....reset.
"I'm already used to living like this. Worse than this, honestly."
