What has happened to him in his short three years has been mostly terrible with some glimpses of good, some months or weeks that were better than others. That's the reason he had to be born fully formed, because a baby or a child couldn't have survived the life he was given. Only an adult-adjacent could persevere. He doesn't have it in him to wish things were different, really. He's tried to experience his life as it is.
It's nice to have someone who cares enough to ask him questions. He's felt very alone in this place.
