[ The sly woman saunters over, mindful of the cut glass like she's used to requiring silence from her footsteps, despite those six inch heels. ]

Alright, I won't say anything, but I was joking about my soul. I'm still leasing the damn thing back

[ He looks like the well kept sort, but then again, so does she. Sometimes it's hard to guess at the horrors someone has seen when they're trained not to wear them on their face. Sally doesn't wear her itchy white facial mask anymore, but the woman has masks galore.

Her look of surprise is genuine at the sight of the floating candy bags. Sally's seen a thing or two here already; people with animal-ears, robots, a long-lost (and re-found, re-lost) best friend. Obviously, "There are Greater Things In Heaven and Earth..." etc. still applies, here. She's going to have to fix up her poker-face if she wants to stop being agog at every little thing. ]

... Hold on, do I look like a girl that needs her bags carried? I can lift 200 pounds, I'll have you know

[ Her tone is impressed, despite the light flirtatious barb. She reaches out after a moment and takes the floating bag, inspecting it for any hidden threads or perhaps magnets... but nope! Seems like genuine telekinesis to her! ]

That's a very handy parlor trick I'm sure. Though now I'm suddenly thinking back on what mum said about accepting candy from strange men... are you sure you're the trustworthy sort?

[ she asks with a playful, sharp-edged sarcasm, like she absolutely expects a pretty and pristine lie; she did already catch him stealing after all, though clearly she's the type that won't bat an eye at petty theft either. ]
