Yes! That sounds correct. If we had Google I could tell you all the details but I don't think they have one.

( Jack is fascinated now, he'd actually be very interested in learning those sorts of facts so the next time someone asked him, he'd be able to answer it with higher education. But for now this is all he can do. He flicks the lights and the windshield wipers to show what they do, the details that he could probably learn by poking at it himself but at least he knows right away. Jack spent so much time watching Dean drive that he knew much of these things before he got behind a wheel.)

It's intuitive once you get started. Mostly it's about not hitting things. Because cars are very dangerous and getting into a car accident is dangerous. Cars can blow up!

( Jack's never saw an explosion of that type in person, but he's seen them in so many action movies. Giant explosions that look really cool on film but he definitely thinks would not be cool at all in reality. He can walk out of an accident without a scratch on him, but his new friend looks like he is much more fragile.)

My fathers would say to respect the road.
