[ Jack hasn't been there long. He took awhile to pick his motorcycle and crashed it a few times on his way to the city, but made it in the end, and camped out on a powerless motel bed with free samples for a time. He's not sure what to make of any of this. It seems likely Chuck exiled him here. They were about to fight him for the last time, it was all leading somewhere and Jack's plan was to end it or die trying, and then he was here. Nothing else really makes sense.
He's worried, of course. What about Sam and Dean without him there to protect them from his grandfather? But he isn't able to control his portal creating and he'll need to practice and get stronger before he can try to force his way home. He got a job at the bowling alley, thinking it would be somewhere with a pool table that Dean might go looking for. Jack has asked around about his family but his descriptions of them aren't helpful and the name Sam is pretty common.
He senses something. It niggles him. He's walking back from the alley and he feels a fluttering in his heart. Lucifer had the ability to find people he wanted and teleport to them without needing to be prayed to, perhaps this is an archangel ability that he's never pressed on too much or experienced. Either way, it leads him to the garage, and he follows his instincts, confused but curious.
Jack looks around, uncertain why he's there, but he swings around when he hears Sam's voice and then it makes sense. His relief is immediate. His stomach flips in the best way.]

Sam! You're here! That's what it was telling me.
