Jack's glowing eyes flame out, leaving behind the natural blue, and he blinks at Rune. He's not that surprised it bothered someone to see them. It makes it clear that he's not human. Rune reached out to touch him rather than trying to run away though, which is a relief. He always feels bad when he scares someone.
"I'm Jack." It's a simple enough answer but his eyebrows furrow as he considers what else to say. It's clear that he's not human and his new friend can tell that, he saw the healing and the glowing eyes. He doesn't know what universe they're in or his grandfather sent him here on purpose, so he considers what else to say, before deciding.
"I'm half-angel. My eyes glow like that when I use my powers." At least this time it's with healing, which makes him a helper of humanity, not when he accidentally uses his powers to blow up things. Or turn people into dust. That he's hoping he won't be doing any time soon.
