[ A beat. Would she know? She's obviously not from his future, but he's still adjusting to this concept of worlds. Universes. Timelines, he gets. He goes back, changes the past, a new one splits off. But it doesn't suddenly erase everything that made the world what it was. You still had mutants. You still had New York. Bagels. The usual. And if she's also from New York—would she have heard of Xavier's Institute? Seen the protests on the news? Or is this...something else?

(Would she be casually buying cereal with him if she knew what he was?)
