While he doesn't interfere more with John's magic investigation, Foggy still finds himself warily watching the proceedings as if he's not completely aware that magic exists in his own world. It's just not something people like him get to see often, especially not up close, and it makes him tingle with uncertainty. Like it's just not meant for him.

And then they're on the move and Foggy realizes he really should just shut up and watch. The rules are constantly changing and he is now in a place where his attention and flexibility is required. Turning his nose up at help, especially help that doesn't require additional resources on his part, is a pretty stupid thing to do.

"Okay, that's... pretty wild. I'm not used to stuff like this," he points out, very much forgoing the shut up advice almost immediately. "Are you one of those guys with Doctor Strange? Can you get me back home?" And then, thoughtfully. "Oh, well, no. Because if you could, you wouldn't be here, right? It seems like they have to drag people because no one wants to be here."
