A vampire. That was thoroughly annoying, and the expression that she pulls at his little smile tells exactly that.

It wasn't true, anymore. When there'd been a prophecy about her final death she'd been very comfortable in flaunting that but that prophecy had already come to pass. And she didn't have a resurrection seal. She didn't know what would happen next but she could boldly lie.

"I could release you. Or I could leave and keep you here." Until her spell wore off hours later, anyway.

"Make your choice." In the vein of if I release you and you try anything that's the stupid move.
