The one on the right? You doubtlessly have noticed the amount of pressure you apply will accelerate your vehicle, but you do not actually have to keep your foot pressing down on it to keep your car in motion. Just a bit will do. And you can apply more as need be should the terrain change, or ease off when going downhill. 'Tis actually surprising how little is needed. The engine takes care of the hard work.
