[ Bob could relate to getting out of a place that had preconceived notions about who you had been as a kid or because of a shitty upbringing outside of your control. Sarasota Springs hadn't been small town but it had been small enough. And people talked. Especially when you were the town screw up and every other neighbor knew about what went on in his family behind closed doors. So this is a blessing in some ways. That he's alone isn't.
